Hiya- just had to hide a few posts, I could have issued bans if I was that way out, but I’ve gone with the ‘nice’ approach. Any more being dicks and I’ll not be so nice. (No more Mr Nice Guy etc, but seriously, stop it please. I know we are annoyed we lost, but rein it in please. Ta.)

Things I don’t want for Christmas: Hearing about how unattractive Stoke are on the eye, or how much possession we had, or any other similar hard luck stories. Things I do want for Christmas: Us to be accountable for allowing strikers free headers in the six yard box (ideally to stop it happening) and for us to be able to use our quality to make our possession count. The warnings were there with our last few performances, but getting away with it, which was incredibly satisfying, granted. We need to start improving badly. I’d be keen to see Dolan starting again. Must be ridiculously frustrating for him to know he can do more than Gallagher and observing this from the bench. Not good at all.

I’m yet to be convinced that Dack and Travis is going to see us surge up the table like many people seem to think it will tbh. I would obviously love for that to happen! Also, Armstrong stepped up in a really big way in Dack’s absence, but will they both bring the best out of each other if they play in their favoured positions?

Just as those on the other side will probably not change your mind either.... If Mowbray fails to reach the top 6 with the best squad we’ve had for years and the backing he’s had, then I think it’s a failure tbh.
