  1. I may as well take my boots and shirt if we care considering Kuqi playing up front alongside Bellamy ! it has to be Pongolle and Bellers, Charlton are slow and cumbersome at best across the back 4 and the reports of their midfield performance suggest its the end of the season so we only have to be concerned with Mr Bent ! a Rovers win
  2. Oh how nice it may be in the next 2 weks or so. I have prayed that cfc dont come to Ewood wanting that elusive point to clinch the title. I have been worried about how they may have destroyed Liverpool in the semi final and then how they might have lost against manure at home therefore opening the title race a wee bit longer. Now then I have a totally different view. I am pleased as punch that the cheski money wagon fell flat on its bum on Saturday. I want manure to record a win at their ground. I want them to come to Ewood and get their raggedy rich bums spanked again by a refreshed ROVERS. I want the geordie faithful to worship our old King Alan Shearer, bid him farewell and to blow the goals into the Chelsea net. and finally..... for once I want manure to win the bloody league and ram the taunts, the cheek and the arrogance that is that bloody portuguese muppet moanalot down his great big portugueseian gob
  3. 4-1 ????????? get a bloody grip on yourself. 1-0 win Rovers
  4. Manchester Blue I havent forgotten what he HAS done for Rovers, what I would like to forget is his current input to the team, that IMo mounts to NOTHING. His place could be given to anyone, even Kuqi, and they would make a better effort. For me with him in the starting 11 Rovers are effectivley playing with 10 men.
  5. DD has a calf problem and there are rumours of a bust up with Cunningham after he has allegedly accused DD of lacking interest for a fight ! Could be missing for the rest of the season
  6. dickov or pngolle ? lets get it right, since dickov came back has he actually done owt apart from moan and get booked ? no he iant keep him well away
  7. city without dunn and upson, a team in desperate need of points leave Rovers facing some sort of whirlwind of Wednesday. I foresee some sort of bcfc line up like this taylor cunningham, tebily, taylor and young left back izzit lazaridis butt and sutton forsee and 'eskey They have to win, a draw is no good to them. Rovers have to play waiting on the break football, therefore 4-5-1 should be ideal or the first half to take the sting from the game. Friedel Todd Nelsen Zurab Neill Emerton Reid Savage Pederson Pongolle Bellamy 2-0 Rovers
  8. Just back evidence for thosewanting Rovers in the Champions League, that we are nowhere near ready for it. Clearly an off side goal from my BBURN End seat Clearly Rovers lacking up front Clearly Rovers played apparently with 9 men against 12 ! Clearly the refusal to put Emerton on ultimately costs us a point. How much play could we have had down the right flank if he had come on for the last 25 minutes instead of lumbering with an ineffective Bentley ? Clearly on todays performance we will struggle to cope with European style football, we just cant cut it whilst we perservere with Dickov partnering Bellamy. Not impressed with Dickov, Gray and Bentley. certainly that Cheshire lino was a muppet, the refereee was a cretin, the tactics were misguided and the whole bloody sunny day has now been ruined ! The theiving scouse reds have done it again, we, Rovers, bend over backwards 3 times to accomodate them and then they go and steal 6 points over the season from us. if anyone says anything to the contrary, todays game is the evidence
  9. greggy we are half way through rebuilding NOW. What we dont want to see is Rovers embarrassed again. CL football right at this point is far far and away too soon for BRFC 2006. Lets walk before we can run. That is simply my view. You dont have to agree with it, you dont have to like it. I believe BRFC are going places with the present company. We can offer players a solid club, great facilities and the perfect playing arena. I would hate Rovers simply to be an embarrassed club ala everton. Consolidation is the priority along with further development and progression. As for your view that this is the only year it will be on offer, well pal, I simply dismiss your suggestion. Of course if Rovers progress then yes, it will be on offer again. The squad for next season has a solid base, it needs additional tinkering and we will have a bloody good squad, more than capable of top 5 finishes, more than capable of achieving european football. Yes, I would love to be in the CL, but it can wait for the time being.
  10. any more news on home ticket sales ? lfc sold all allocated tickets lock yr cars up hide the radios and clothes, watch your wallets and dont wear tracksuits lol
  11. did anyone else not agree with Simon Garners column in the LET ? Rovers dont need C L football at this stage of the rebuild, a simple foray into the eufa cup will do for this year. we need to stabilise rather than jump 5 steps ahead. Rovers will not finish 4th nor 5th. 6th Place is an excellent starting point for next year, an excellent finish to this season and that is what we should aim for.
  12. it now relegates bumley to the 3rd club in East LAncs l
  13. If there was ever a chance of selling a Rovers DVD then this season is it. What an incredible selection of goals to choose from and oh how the money men must be wishing Rovers were a bigger marketing force as surely those goals alone will stand against those of any other Premiership club, in particular the so called big 5. My personal choice is for Bellamy's first at Pompy, however how hard has it been to choose the winner ? Any one of them would win hands down in a normal season, but, for Rovers this is an incredible season, the start of a whole new adventure. bring it on, it makes my spine shiver when I think of seeing those goals on show at the next home game.
  14. he didnt play at sunderland as he was ill. He cant play against lfc as he is on loan from THEM and is part of Premiership rules. Cant wait till Sunday, the pre match tension is really building as we approach the final hurdle. Now then how long is it since Rovers fans felt like this, being up for a game that is 6 days away ! I like it, in fact I like it a lot
  15. I hear today that Chelski are paying for their fans to go to Ewood as the game be just be the match they win the league. if it is the case then expect 6000 cockney russians entering the real theatre of dreams giving us yet another 26k plus home crowd. last 3 home games may just be lfc = 28000 cfc = 27000 mcfc = 29000 PLUS
  16. if 26k plus have gone already then expect a crowd of around 28kplus should be a great atmosphere
  17. There are some crucial games coming up man u v spuds arsenal v spuds bolton v chelsea man u v chelsea rovers v chelsea Rovers can still finish top 6 quite easy On paper spuds have a much more difficult run in than Rovers or Arsenal so I expect Arsenal to finish 4th, Rovers to finish 6th and spuds to take 5th place. A 6th place finish is an absolute miraculous ending to a truly fabulous season
  18. for the crowd spotters work it out like this Rovers have an average home crowd of around 18300 Liverpool have sold 7400 tickets expect the crowd to be around 26000 and upwards after today, I wasnt impressed with Liverpool. They are very one dimensional and all of the play goes through Gerrard and Alonso. The front 2 pairing of Fowler and Crouch wouldnt scare a dying swan and the back four although settled are there for the taking. Boltons upwardly mobile pairing of Fatty and Baldy frightened them early doors so ther eis no reason why Bellamy plus 1 cannot do the same. For me, on todays performance Rovers need to be up for it in midfield. crucial battles Lucas v the pony tailed princess The Admiral v the bean pole Roberto Savage v Gerard Fastfoot v lanky fin
  19. a34 m42 m6 it only takes a moderate driving speed to get back home although if he did drive then he can expect some trafic management lettes through the post from the spy came ras !!!
  20. difficult one to predict. depends on the opening 15 minutes but would love a Rovers win car crime increased ten fold for the monthly Police figures
  21. Pompy have undisclosed injuries to 3 players from this week. Just seen it on SSN or is harry kidding us on?
  22. pity about the result eh lads and lassies ? winkers now firmly behind us (watch yr ar£es !!) relegation fears wobbling through the midlands with bcfc losing two more players through injury lol
  23. a result that cements Rovers fight for 6th place 2-0 pompy
