mild drinkers are a dying breed literally. The olden generation 60's plus are the greatest mild drinkers the age group 40-59 are not really akin to supping the stuff, they are mainly bitter drinkers along with acomplished lager swillers, they are in the main real ale merchants the age group 30-39 are simply lager swillers with a little bot of bitter in between anyone up to 30 these days rely on the sickly alcopops and general sh%% they put out in bottles these days the youngsters would not dare touch a real ale drink not to mention hand pulled bitters/milds they are the ones who miss out !!

PNE wont trouble us if they go up then the maximum at deepdale mudheap will be 18500 for the season with only 1500 away fans. I have actually seen the plans for a promoted pne for next season and although it would bring in big money for them, the crowds will be limited as they have not got FULL permission to build the 4th stand. Some of the locals have formed a petition and are refusing to back down as a new stand will provide them with a good view of a concrete structure !!

thank the good Lord that phil Neville is absent from that squad If Rooney is not making the world cup squad then its Defoe for me, he will score the goals we need despite everyones reservations about him. Remember the spirit

I thought City were pi$$ poor tonight versus the Ar$e, very little creativity and very little threat up front or from the midfield. Pluses from their team Samaras looks a handfull vassell looked disinterested barton was poor reyna looked tired and old james was easily the best player on show from city Richards the only real piece of class and he is only 17 !!

thats just akin to saying the fans dont need to turn up as there is nothing to play for. Dont be so daft, we shoud rub city's face into it and seek to get 3 points. Hughes is an ex red, he will want to show city that he shows no mercy, Rovers have no need to wind down, we want 3 points and to finish the season on a high irrespective of already sealing 6th place. full team please, no kuqi or dickov I agree but please everyone else that is available shoudl be on the team list

I cannot believe this has not been mentions "....team full of drogbas, your just a team full of drogbas...." the diving cheating chelsea scum. Such a pity that the foreign influence had on their team as quite clearly they are a marvellous football team which jut about sums up just how far BRFC have moved on since the dark days of the past 2 years and the latter end of the Sourness regime. Rovers achievement is magnificent, I cant wait for the Euro draw. The atmosphere in the ground was great even if we only had 20000 and a bit more. That last 10 minutes was reminiscent of VE day. Now on Sunday, Rovers fans have the opportunity of sending our team off for their achievements. What togetherness they showed, what spirit, what effort and oh yes, we can moan about some of the players own performances, but at the end of the day the whole team have succeeded. Rovers into Europe. Big City club relegated, the geordie boys condemned to the intertoto, bolton and wigon put in their places, Rovers righfully established as the top team in Lancashires OLDEN boundaries. Rovers have again taken on the big boys and have come out shining. We have a reputation of being able to mix it, being able to play football and being able to win big games. When jose moanalot stands there in his potuguesian arrogant manner and says Blackburn DESERVE it then it has to be well received, I wonder if that prat RFW would ever come out and congratulate us in the same manner. For me the high light of last night was the fans, the way the team battled and won their personal battles and the shear effort they put into those last 15 minutes. I am now certain that Rovers have their wishlist, they have their exit list and those players who are leaving know why they are going. Being a Rovers player these days is not about taking the money and running, its about earning the dosh and working as hard as one can in order to don that famous Blue and White shirt. Roll on Sunday -

what a pathetic tax dodging excuse. In my days the golden rule was never leave revision till the last minute. 2 hrs a day over the past 3 weeks would have sufficed and if yr a teenager you should realise that you already know it all -

For the women (and men) that are interested, David Sullivan and Mr Gold have released a low priced sexual aid in their latest magazine Its called The Shaft - an inexpensively assembled one dimensional unit that will $$$ the life out of you and one that gives the impression of a more expensive unit that is available in most good sex shops ! They initially thought of naming it The Bruce -

Ozz how could you drink that crap ?? I really didnt expect a Rovers win when I posted pre match, I dident think it would go our way. The events leading to kick off were nothing short of amazing when Curbs resigned and it was announced over the pa system Rovers totally controlled the game. We had so much space but were not clinical enough. 2-0 fair result and its a low finish of 8th or higher If Rovers play anywhere near as bad at the back on Tuesday Chelsea will score 5 without reply. thats my only criticism. Great night in Blackpool, Leeds and Brum fans kicking off, Joey Blower on top form in The Merry England and the kebabs gave me the shIItes
