I just don't think the lad has any ability. IMO, what he offers can be found down at Pleasington every Saturday / Sunday. I honestly doubt this lad will be earning a living from the game by the time he's 24.

Delighted you are happy Chaddy and no doubt, similar to your cover photo, you are in your living room jumping up and down like a demented terrier. Calm down, treat yourself to a takeaway, enjoy a beer and have a nice night! -

Yeah we won. Just hope Mowbray and co and posters on here contain their outrage when a key decision goes against us. I've always argued that over the course of a season, you get decisions that go both for you and against you and, at the end of the season, they balance out. Of course I'll take the win but it shouldn't overshadow the facts that it was fortuitous and, sadly, only serves to, IMO, paper over the cracks that are widening by the week. -

So you are condoning the incident? -

True but that incident changed the course of the match. Down to 10 men and one down from the penalty spot, we would have been on course for a hiding just as Rovers handed out to other teams (when down to 10 men) earlier this season. -

IMO, Branthwaite should have gone with a penalty awarded. Full stop. Would have been a free kick and, most likely, a red card anywhere else on the pitch. Inexperienced or not, you simply can't challenge for the ball with your foot six feet in the air. It was both reckless and dangerous and Fry could easily have had his eye taken out. If that happened against us, there would have been uproar on here. -
Nothing at all has changed with today's fortunate win. IMO, we've a manager who revels in disorganised chaos. I think the longer Mowbray stays, the longer we will be from challenging to get back into the PL.

IMO, 'spider' was a much more gifted footballer. I've watched football for decades and rarely has a player underwhelmed me so much as Buckley - just wtf does the lad offer!? Sadly, I think David Helliwell died in his early fifties. By all accounts, he was a very decent lad. -

IMO Armstrong will never, ever reach the heights of Vardy. He has nowhere near the football intelligence Vardy has nor the overall game. Chalk and cheese. -

Knocked my bottle of red over when I heard that and I'm not joking! Had to pour a bottle of white over carpet to prevent staining - fortunately has worked! Totally unconvincing. Mowbray got lucky we didn't concede penalty and go down to 10 men - don't want Mowbray to moan about decisions ever again. Branthwaite raw - is he really better than Carter or Magloire? Douglas - IMO, robbing a living. Davenport - don't think he has it or ever will. Travis - don't think lad's fit. Not the same player. Buckley - FFS, a £10million PL player!?!? Think this lad will be lucky to be ANYWHERE in the FL soon. Armstrong - needs to get back to basics - think it's gone to his head. We got lucky today, again! Awful, awful match. If this is progressive and entertaining football @chaddyrovers then forget it. Think there'll be plenty of space at Ewood when fans are allowed back in. Mowbray out, out, out. -

A bit rich! IMO, in the main, Mowbray has churned out absolutely dire football - his footballing philosophy is a myth. I would watch a Dyche team every day of the week over a Mowbray team because I knew the team would know what they were doing and it would be successful! IMO, Mowbray's football, in the main, is both ugly and unsuccessful. He failed to keep us up, as he was appointed to, and since returning to the Championship we've stood still as evidenced by our league position, points tally and distance from play offs at this stage of the season in each of the three seasons we've been back. I think it's a feckin awful journey Mowbray has taken us on - stop the train, I want to get off to be sick. -
Sorry Gav but not buying it. Think Mowbray is a master bullsh1tter and, sadly, too many fall for it. To me, an evening with Mowbray in Blues Bar, Feb. 2019 merely cemented my long held suspicions. IMO, he's not the self purported humble, honest, man of integrity etc - he's in it for number one and it's all about self preservation as he very likely knows he will never get another relatively lucrative gig, with little pressure, like this one.

Think you are right. Also think Warnock will be supremely motivated to smack Rovers in the face after he was supposedly lined up to take on the manager's job here only to be hijacked by Coyle and co. Seems like M'boro were 'at it' against Forest and impressed Warnock. Think this will be a feisty one and not sure we'll end up with 22 left on the pitch with, IMO, Travis the first one to get his marching orders. -
Picked just two points out of your very good summary - couldn't stand to listen to him. IMO, usual self preservation bullsh1t to keep our owners and happy clappers naively happy. Armstrong is 24 in 3 weeks times - FFS Mowbray, HE IS NOT A YOUNG BOY. You look at many players of 24 or under and see what they've achieved in terms of club, appearances, goals, medals and international caps. Yep, he wants a strong finish to the season as, IMO, it gives him another season and on and aimlessly on we will go. IMO, Mowbray is a clown and we need him out now.

Rich Sharpe @richsharpe89 told there's nothing in it. Re Gallagher - pity. Would have driven him myself. -
I think Mowbray's game management is very poor. IMO, he is unable to change the course of a game in the way the good managers do - his substitutions for a start are, IMO, baffling and disruptive. For example, Rodgers made a couple of tweaks to Leicester last night both at half time and in the last quarter - tweaks enabling them to see off Chelsea. I recall from our relegation season a number of games where, IMO, we ended up with one point instead of three and losing instead of drawing quite simply due to Mowbray's poor game management. Yes he improved on Coyle's points / game ratio but he was employed to keep us up and FAILED. We were relegated on goal difference and, IMO, we were relegated because of both Coyle and Mowbray.

Neither can I. Like it or not, I can't see anyone going above £15million for Armstrong. IMO, he is not an intelligent footballer and would struggle in the PL. Pace is his biggest attribute and he is scoring goals in what is, IMO, a bang average Championship. The gulf between Championship and PL is huge. I think Watkins is already twice the player Armstrong will ever be and Watkins will only get better. -
Probably training on 'Little Wembley' which was behind the row of terraced houses at the Blackburn End.
-
No it is not. 2020 the same for all football teams. A 56 point return is appalling and, IMO, just confirms we are on a journey to nowhere. It is bottom half of table stuff and and only some half a dozen points above relegation. THAT IS NOT PROGRESS.
-
If I could have got odds on this match being postponed, I would have put everything I have on it! How convenient for Rovers! Think Warnock will be furious as they play tomorrow. Rovers now a great bet to go and win at M'boro on Sunday.
-
So far they've kept financing the club. As sure as tomorrow is Tuesday, a tipping point will come - seen it too many times in business. So, what has the investment in infrastructure brought us? Players good enough to get us promoted, no. An improved league position, no. Improved players who we sell for big money, no. So what is the point? A client of mine had sales outstripping his manufacturing capacity so he invested in new manufacturing plant. He lowered his unit production costs, fulfilled the demand for his product and substantially improved his unit and overall profitability. An investment that WORKED producing TANGIBLE results here and now. Flip side - O'Neill and Warnock have brought about improvements in Stoke and M'boro which see them both above Rovers in something like a qurter of the time Mowbray has had. That is not evolution and a slow build but a feckin result. Mowbray FAILED in his objective of keeping us up. Analogy, you get married and promise father-in-law you will look after his daughter. You give her a slap one night but bring her flowers home from work the next day - have you kept your promise and looked after her? Don't be so sensitive. If folk call me a 'boo boy' then fine. If folk think you are a happy clapper just smile and accept it.

You talk about lack of funds! Who spunked £12million+ up the wall on fees for Brereton and Gallagher, not to mention their wages and these two lads were sat on the bench on Saturday! I also think it's nonsense to suggest we couldn't attract the likes of Elliott if it were not for Mowbray. Similarly, to state we would be at greater risk of losing likes of Armstrong if Mowbray were to leave is, IMO, a bit of a stretch! As for Mowbray's footballing philosophy - I've seen some of the worse football ever from a Rovers' side under Mowbray's tenure. IMO, Mowbray's philosophy is all a bit of a myth as I believe what I see with my own eyes and in the main the football has been dire. To think some criticised Big Sam's style!
-
IMO, and based upon the many matches I saw spanning our time in that division under Mowbray, Kendall, Lee and Furphy, I would say the season we were there with Mowbray was far less competitive than the seasons under previous managers. I think the standard was very poor and most matches were won in a canter. Think Wigan and Rovers finished about 10 points ahead of third placed Shrewsbury and some 20 points ahead of fourth place - evidence of just how relatively uncompetitive the league was - and I am almost certain you would not see such extreme margins in the promotion seasons under Lee and Kendall even when adjusting for 3 points / win instead of the then 2 points / win. Mowbray took us down - full stop. He was appointed to keep us up (his words) and he failed. O'Neill kept Stoke up and Warnock kept M'boro up and they succeeded in what they were brought in to do. Facts don't lie. Why do I place bets on Rovers to win? Firstly, I've supported Rovers home, away and in Europe for some 60 years, and sadly, sometimes my heart rules my head! However, I look at some of the players we have who are capable of winning matches for us and we should be doing far, far better - as Souey used to say, it's the 'big players' who win the matches for you. IMO, Mowbray should be doing far, far better given the players he has, just as Bowyer should have done far, far better given the talent he had at his disposal.
