This lad is I think 32 and, though no world beater, is competent with perhaps his best years to come (didn't Brad play until he was close to 40?) and certainly far better than Pears. @Gavsays Ipswich offered him a 1 year deal. Surely, a 'normal' Championship club could have got him with a 2 or 3 year deal. No one can tell me Rovers would not know about his availability. It is just sad and pitiful that we aren't even at the races for such players. Seems players of the ilk of Jack Barrett are the height of both our ambition and financial capability.

You aren't wrong, however, Burnley have only moved NOW - clearly the lad's been available for weeks, weeks where we've been unable to do anything. Surely, Hladky was available at a cost within the budget of most teams with no parachute payments given he moved from Salford to join Ipswich as a Division 1 club.

We need a proven experienced number one goalie and yet another opportunity gone with Hladky signing for Burnley on a 2 year deal. Again, underlines what a complete and utter mess structurally and financially we are in. The lad would not have been on big bucks given he joined Ipswich as a Division 1 club.

I would suggest you put me on ignore if you think all I do is make up sh1t. As for Rhodes, I posted on here the Rhodes' deal was done hours before it was reported in ANY media including this MB. That is information I got from someone at the Huddersfield end. If you have nothing better to do and you can access the MB's archives then take a look and it will be quite evident. Similarly, a few years ago, I posted about a group of investors approaching Venky's about a deal not dissimilar to the one Ratcliffe has done with United. Just a few days later, it emerged in the local media that Battersby and his investors wanted to take a stake and assume some operational control. Sadly, we know Venky's rejected. I don't need to justify myself to anyone on this MB but I do not "make up shit". If you had even a modicum of understanding about the football industry you would know just how volatile it is and how so very, very few of the things muted in the media come to fruition.

Excluding current ownership, I have backed the club for over 60 years through good times and bad including when we were down at the bottom of the old Third Division (before you were even a twinkle in your dad's eye) which came with standing in sh1t houses like Tranmere (on cold Friday nights) and Halifax and driving to places like Chesterfield with several inches of snow on the passes making them almost impassable and then standing on open terracing when it was cold enough to freeze your nuts, so don't need any grandstanding from you. However, I will not tolerate our owners and executive management, IMO, trying to p1ss all over me as a supporter because that's what it feels like. I feel like we have been hugely betrayed as supporters and treated with utter contempt. If you want to lie there saying more, more, more please then that is your prerogative. The likes of you just prolong the tenure of, IMO, these imbeciles who don't really give a toss about Rovers.

What a wonderful fantasy world you live in Chaddy! However, I live in the real world and all the ups, downs, joys and disappointments that come with it.

I think your post is very true (deleted all put your last point to prevent repitition). Some speculating Insider is either Broughton or Kimberley but I think that speculation is well wide of the mark. As I have posted before, I think you will find it's a disaffected individual who has had enough of the shenanigans and couldn't give a toss about potential consequences simply because they know too much and if they really open up......!!!!!! I believe this is a very genuine source and if the club goes t1ts up, expect this person to sing like the proverbial canary.

I wonder how the the 8,500 who have bought season tickets are now feeling? A handful of folk I know are wishing they hadn't and are vowing it will be their last until an ownership change.

Trouble is Chaddy we can't find them and even if we do, they would only come to Rovers if no other club wanted them. Why would any player want to join, IMO, the shambles Rovers are if they have other options? If I was an agent, and I do know a couple having come across them in my line of work, I would advise my client to avoid Rovers like the plague.

IMO, the best way the fans can back our club is to STAY AWAY and stop buying merchandise as this would expedite the exit of our owners and Waggott. If we have to start again then we start again whether it be League 1 or 2. I will back my club with purchase of season tickets and all that goes with it BUT ONLY with ambitious new owners and a new excecutive management, both personifying integrity, trust and understanding.

Illustrates just how far as a club we've fallen - a miracle needed to get has beens and journeymen over the line. We are now light years away from where we were when our owners bought the club in 2010 whilst galaxies away from the halcyon times and era of Uncle Jack, Shearer, Sutton et al. So sad and feckin depressing.

Creditors due payment within 12 months amounted to £31million (excludes the £123 million owed to our parent). Without player sales, we are hemorrhaging money. Seemingly, with our owners unable, or not wanting, to fund us, this is a battle to keep our heads above water - it's an existential crisis. Your £7million transfer fund was always pie in the sky.
