  1. Past hour
  2. Not surprised at the opinions they hold in the slightest. Bit taken aback at the level of vitriol though.
  3. Likely will contain the "option for a further year" clause that all contracts seem to have now, and it won't activate until the summer. So realistically, including this loan, it could be a four year deal.
  4. He was one of my favourite ever players.
  5. We had this the other day, your problem is you can't accept an answer unless it's what you want to hear. I'll clarify, not that it was in doubt from the last answer. It doesn't matter what anyone does, they will go when they're ready. Just why anyone would go to a home game a couple of weeks back, then suddenly come on here claiming that a boycott is the only way, is beyond mental. If you want to stay away, then stay away, it's your prerogative, but I won't. If you want, we can go on discussing the ridiculous contradictions from now until next Saturday, or just accept each other's decision.
  6. I’m surprised people are surprised, like I said above, that is the standard stuff you hear at Ewood over and over, even fifteen years later.
  7. To add, why would talks on a deal be ongoing when the deal has to be agreed as part of the option to buy? edited to add @RevidgeBlue beat me to it (and put it far more eloquently 😁).
  8. That sounds like complete BS. If as alleged all along we have a legally binding option to purchase, what is there to discuss?
  9. They'll buy him now and sell him in summer i think that was the plan all along.
  10. Another one of those bs stories you hear. Here we go again…
  11. He'll have played for 2 teams this season so, assuming the rules carry over to Europe too, he wouldn't be able to play for anyone else.
  12. Cynical **** that i am now wondering if we will sign him next week in order to sell him on deadline day for a profit... Usually about april we need a chunk of cash to pay the bills and that would reduce that requirement. Bonuses all round
  13. How do you prepare to activate a clause? You either do it or you don’t.
  14. Our 'war chest' will be used to buy new tea cup holders for the awayday coach Waggott bought us and some extra pennies for Trevor, the groundsman.
  15. A 2 year deal for a player you pay 1.5 million for is a bit of a joke. But I barely care anymore. Incompetence is just the nature of the game now for us.
  16. He will be like a new signing for us, and very versatile. He can play left wing back, and as any one or both of the two strikers we wanted.
  17. I could never understand how Mariner ended up at Plymouth before he moved to Ipswich. Wasn’t he at Chorley ?
  18. I've joined in trying to talk sense into boycotting. Imagine being happy with the regime, I genuinely can't believe it.
  19. They played that live on the pitch back in the day. Against Aston Villa I think.
  20. But when he eventually returns, it will be like a new signing!
  21. He will be on way, way less than that in the A League
  22. Hope this is true and get him tied down definitely
