  1. Past hour
  2. I'll also add... that back 3 is in the position I'd expect it to be in, play it again, I wasn't shocked..... is it effective or needed there? No. A back 4 deals with that cross and a full back is facing the ball as it comes over. 3 centre backs, marking 2 attackers so 1 centre back is completely free ..... McLoughlin, marking a zone and the ball goes in, free header. We're seeing a lot of untracked back post headers because of it despite the better overall form. Yes De Neve was useless..... but is he a player you really want responsible for preventing goals? We could have gone to QPRs shape in this fixture and brought on a solid full back. QPR had no height. We need to be braver at home and make the changes before the opposition do. For the record, I don't rate Ismael at all. He's a reactive coach and his subs are often too many at once.
  3. He defended that like a winger, not a full back, or even a wing back.
  4. They started the ball rolling in that respect.
  5. It's totally unacceptable from De Neve. Who so far has proved a very poor signing. Along with others. Not up to it.
  6. He's done nothing since he arrived to change my mind that he's a shite manager.
  7. After what has happened since, you would think that the penny would drop that it wasnt Mowbray or even Waggott who finished us off as a normal club.
  8. 13 consecutive away defeats to promoted sides, and this will be no different. Wrexham 3 Rovers 0
  9. Still too early for him to start games. Will take some time for him to be fully integrated into our squad.
  10. Everyone makes their own decisions, I have a brother who has boycotted for years and I go to every home match and a good few away. Last night I was trying to get home from holiday to attend but didn’t get back to Manchester Airport early enough and so just caught the last 25 minutes on telly. I go out a sense of duty rather than enjoyment now, it feels like that if I can’t be bothered no more, then who else will go and without us, the fans, the club will die. Years back, I would walk down LBR amidst the throngs of Blue & Whites. Now, for night matches, I walk down almost without anyone else in sight, incredibly sad and a damning indictment of what Venkys and the stooges have done to us. Yes, there is no excuse for the performances and results being delivered at Ewood but it must be difficult for the team to play in such an empty stadium with a downtrodden and depressed remnant support.
  11. Disagree. Appointing someone who is a cut above the norm is the only way we'll keep our heads above water in the short term imo. Stick with Ismael, a guy on the downgrade who was never all that to start with and we're looking at League 2 or beyond imo.
  12. I thinknas always, you would be surprised who would want this job. But, those in charge won't employ anyone decent because they dont like to be challenged.
  13. My comment about feeling sorry for fans who have bought a season ticket wasn't intended in any patronising or critical way whatsoever. I have the utmost respect for the dedication of those fans who still go down to Ewood to witness such rubbish. You all deserve so much better. Personally Mowbray and Waggott finished me off, the sense that we were no longer a normal Club with any aspirations of success was there even then. There were only so many annual collapses starting every December and instances of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory I could take. Despite it all if proper people were put in place and I felt there was a genuine desire somewhere within the Club to succeed I'd probably be back. I nearly bought a half season ticket twice when we were going well under both JDT and Eustace and ended up being exceptionally glad I didnt after the twats in charge effectively forced them out.
  14. Today
  15. Pointless appointing talented guys on the way up as soon as they make any progress here the rug will be pulled from under them and they will want out see JDT and JE
  16. Rovers under 21 match against Coventry at Ewood tomorrow has been called off with no reason given.
  17. I feel the key is to get Pasha out. He's been the constant running the show for 15 years. If he's gone they need to find a replacement. They won't trust employing competent people in a proper process so they might think "Sack it, lets get shut now". He's a stubborn, shadowy swine but for 14 years he's had an easy ride externally.
  18. Indeed it is as this lot uniquely have no interest in making a fist of it on the pitch or giving it up as a bad job.
  19. We don't know, but probably not. But of all ways of hitting back at them, it does seem to irk them, perhaps there is a point we havent reached that will make them want out. Thats part of the frustration.
  20. Hope you’re right, but I see absolutely no inclination of wanting to sell. For me in November 2035 we’ll be having this same conversation (with no academy and Christ knows in what division).
  21. Considering Baradji was our stellar, number one Trav-busting target and he's now featured in a couple of games, surely he starts this game with the injuries we have. We will then see if he's anywhere near the hype the club tried to build around him. Or if he's a Sidnei.
  22. I'd say so yes. They've gone from a position of "We will never ever sell this Club" not that long ago to Suhail conceding that Clubs are always up for sale at the right price.
  23. Their revenue in real terms has collapsed in fifteen years, yet are they any closer to the door now then, say, in November 2015?
  24. “The biggest mistake we (Venky’s) ever made was listening to Steve (Waggott) and Fraser (Read) and reducing season tickets by £30. What do you want next year, a reduction of £150?” Make no mistake. Having a revenue shortfall hurts them. Its the only form of protest that has had ANY reaction from the owners.
