Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Hope so. I can’t help worrying that attempts are being made to silence them… -
1950's Retro Shirts - they've arrived
windymiller7 replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Shirt's just arrived, quality is excellent, very pleased! 🤩. Will be perfect for those colder days at Ewood or down the pub. Could probably have got away with a large, but better to have it on the bigger side than too tight with my 'Dad Bod' Thanks to all involved. Edit: Forgot to add, nice touch with the photos sent with it. 🫡 -

This is a by product of the absurd way football is run in this country. The decision to replay the match was taken exclusively by the EFL. The Premier League also have autonomy when it comes to disciplinary action against clubs under their control. Any disciplinary sanctions such as red and yellow cards or manager misconduct are reported directly to the FA and they manage that side of the game for both the EFL and Premier League. - Today

The Bugle Horn, at the top of the hill behind the ground, was good the last time I went to Charlton. -

I’ve played on some really bad pitches. One in particular was a pitch where there were pools of water ( ie large puddles ) but given the un-evenness of the pitch other areas of the pitch were dry and quite playable. However I’ve never played on a pitch like the one at Ewood last Saturday. By the time the game was called off there was standing water all over pitch and there was no way the ball would run along the ground or bounce when dropped. I saw one of the blokes with a pitchfork sweeping large amounts of water away with his boot. You might have been ok playing rugby on it but playing football was impossible. -

I we are losing the replay at half time, what is to stop us banging the sprinklers on full blast and getting the game cancelled again. What is the betting it would not be going to a second replay 🙂 -

I’m sure there would have been an outcry if they did something their rules don’t permit. -

Harsh on Rovers BUT....spend some Cash Rovers and get this long known problem sorted once and for all so it never happens again. Over to you Venkys...🤣 -

I agree, all the money Jack Walker invested in Rovers(only for his sons to take it out), you'd think we would have a decent drainage system. -

Maybe they could do it in politics, a replay of the general election, 5 more years of the tories. -

Ill be there for the replay, but still think it's an unfair decision. -
He will be popping up on a Sky Sports programme soon offering his opinion as an 'expert' and joining their long list of failed managers (and those who never had the bottle to go into management).

It's not the fault of the Ipswich fans of even the club. If some of the Ipswich fans are gloating it's exactly what some of our lower IQ fans would be doing to them. If you want to vent your anger then do it at the people who have steadfastly refused to invest money in a pitch and a drainage system fit for purpose. -

rigger replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think it is a fair outcome, given that the Rovers where at fault for not fixing a known problem. What I can't understand is allowing people on the panel who abstain from voting. I take it that the three abstainers did so, so that, their vote cannot be used against their clubs, if some action is taken at the end of the season. -
