  1. Past hour
  2. Several games. Fuck me. And you did reply...
  3. I could not reply to this comment. For your information, I have been to several games this season and I am a boycotter
  4. Are you completely mad? Gestede will be having a mini-hissy fit because a) there was a definite impact of the boycott at the game on Saturday and that means he will be under scrutiny and b) he definitely reads this forum and his stupid schoolboy ego will want someone to bash to compensate for all the hurtful things people say about his teensy weensy ikkle football brain which we all can see is weak and shrivelled and about as much use as clingfilm would have been in saving the Titanic. Pasha will be chuckling mildly in that clearly slightly unhinged way he exhibits when caught in the limelight, because after all, he knows there is nothing to do because the coffers that he allows small change to be dropped into are now completely empty. Unless you know different, it seems more likely that there will be outgoings rather than incomings, to balance the dodgy 'surface' books (the real accounts being something only those behind the curtains in Madame's smoking parlour in Pune get to pore over). And anyway, hasn't the bumbling frog uttered the magical words, "Players coming back from 'injury' (yeah right)..?" So,don't hold your breath old bean. Call foul instead.
  5. My feeling is Venky have just given up on the club. It’s clear as they don’t attend, are never promoting their own ship as a status symbol. Their ownership at this point is puzzling. They don’t seem to be fans of the sport, don’t attend matches, don’t seem to even discuss the club. It feels like a total afterthought. So if it’s true they don’t care, why not sell then? At this point ownership can’t be a source of joy, certainly isn’t painting the Rao family in a hood light, and it can’t be considered prestigious to own an English football club soon to be in the third tier. I just don’t understand why they have not moved on? Let the club be someone else’s headache/love. My only conclusion is they’re now doing this out of spite. Won’t sell, won’t fund, wont pay fair wages, won’t even high a ceo. They either have no considerations for this “asset” or are actively trying to dismantle it.
  6. Embarrassing today, the principle was great but the execution was amateur. Most of the boycott was people who pussied out years ago and today had no impact. Hurts a few egos but the ones who are gonna save this club and are in the loop aren't the ones who are trying to be celebrities.
  7. Today
  8. So basically the same as those that oppose it The pride from turning up as usual at Ewood equates to the pride from participating in an almost unheard of boycott of the club? Especially when many boycotters were season ticket holders and had already paid for their ticket? I really don't think so! Any way, my gripe with you is not about whether the boycott succeeded or not, its that you positively wanted it to fail.
  9. Are you happy with the current owners? If not, how do you propose the fan base unite and protest together?
  10. They were averaging only a point a match even when a virtually full squad was avaliable until mid-October. No reason to suppose it'll be even as good as that in the second half of the season.
  11. We were shite they were just as shite. We barely created any chances. Gave the ball away numerous times. Two shite teams
  12. Yesterday
  13. He looks like a little schoolboy who's wandered into a man's game. Him and Cantwell give the ball away for fun.
  14. Left wingback is a glaring weakness but Ismael doesn't seem to be bothered by it. DeNeve is useless offering absolutely nothing going forward and a total liability defensively. Venkys clearly aren't the least bit bothered by relegation if they won't fund a replacement for Hedges who won't be back until the final match of the season at best. The budget and cutting losses is everything. Little wonder they are utterly despised by the what remains of the fan base.
  15. Glen, sorry to hear the bad news about one of your parents. Hope the surgery has been successful and recovery is good. Horrible situation for all the family. Puts football firmly into perspective. Life is a precious privilege but sadly so fragile. Take care.
  16. Sounds like depression and anger So basically the same as those that oppose it No ones defended the owners? Sickening... really? I'm comfortable with putting up with it. Depends how you feel and what you manifest?
  17. A week of the window left… any inbound players linked?
  18. We are literally in the top 12 for all time football league 😂😂
  19. Usual planted bull shit that we've heard a dozen times before in the last decade although nice to see you 'got real' and altered 20 mill a season to 15 mill a season. If a club gets promoted from this league it wipes those losses out and resets itself financially if done properly but to do that it needs running correctly and funding not massively but sustainable investment year on year on the operation. If it doesn't get those two basic principles it goes backwards bit by bit all across the operation and the loses become more and more until it drops into oblivion regardless of '15 mill a season'. That's where we are at and it's the opposite of entitlement to point it out, it's called realism. On the 1990 to 2010 point Blackburn Rovers is about the 12th most regular top flight team in English history which makes your assertion bollocks.
  20. Particularly impressed by Cashin today. Takes some mental strength to bounce straight back after the start he had. Used his body well to make up for his lack of of pace. Must be on the same diet as John McGinn.
  21. What I don’t get is the people coming on here criticising those fans who boycotted today, and with the next breath defending the owners who’ve had their own boycott going on for the last decade or so.
  22. You've literally copied and pasted this from something. Seems suspicious.
  23. Absolutely spot on. The 'fans' wanting to call it a flop are better off not supporting Rovers in my eyes, and don't even have the clubs interest at heart.
  24. They bought a club that had lost a few million pounds over the previous 5 years. Every penny they’ve had to put in is as a result of their own incompetence. I echo your final sentence.
  25. The club is quite simply on its knees and I'm supposed to be grateful that they're providing just enough money to not see their investment taken away from them by administrators? Fuck them.
  26. 13th most points, 14th most matches. Suggests our ‘natural position’ is mid-table PL - roughly where we were when Venkys appeared. 🤔🤔
  27. Fans also aren't demanding instant success, we're demanding owners who care about the club as much as we do, owners who come to games, owners who employ the best possible people they can afford and find to run the club, people with the right experience. I've never been able to think of one single thing about the football club that is in any way better than it was in 2010 when they took over. They haven't improved a single thing by any measure. Everything is either the same or worse, most things are worse. How can people be happy with that approach and attitude? Cheap, cheerful, bargain basement, horrible approach which has humiliated us and taken the pride out of supporting the club.
  28. Dear boy we're not going nowhere fast, we're going downwards fast. You're making the mistake of assuming the goal is Premier League football; "where we belong". I defy you to find one poster who has claimed such. I have seen many who have said they would rather we were lower in the pyramid with engaged, passionate owners. Your lack of comprehension of the ultimate goal of the coalition is the problem here, not the ambition of the coalition.
