  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe - fwiw I don’t think it’s going to happen immediately. Wouldnt surprise me if we’ve transitioned by Christmas though.
  3. One set of lads fresh from Heaton Park put in on a flag and now the club’s trying to co-opt it. Very cringe.
  4. Brum are on a roll cue the usual derogatory chants from clowns who've never been out of New Street before. Never mind the bods upstairs at Ewood will be delighted and have a line already to spin back to India 'look a 20k crowd' !!! For the record not long ago Brum were averaging about 16k and regularly used to bring sub 2k to Ewood - In the Prem.
  5. The final round was incredible. Top work, guys!
  6. I would be amazed if we get anyone in who is immediately better than who they replace Not saying that any new signings will be rubbish, or that they will not potentially be better than who they replace in the long run, but every signing will initially be worse, (and cheaper) than their predecessors
  7. 1. Winners of the Championship Southampton 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship Ipswich 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship Sheffield United, Leicester City, Coventry, WBA 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship Portsmouth, Oxford, Charlton 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 9th 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) Nathan Jones (Charlton) 7. Winners of the Premier League Arsenal 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) A consortium will be linked to Blackburn Rovers and Venky's will not be our owners by the start of next season.
  8. Bradford have sold over 16k season tickets. Cheap tickets dont work though, or something.
  9. I'd rather have a 9 better than Gueye or Ohashi than a 10.
  10. 1. Winners of the Championship Ipswich 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship Southampton 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship Leicester Birmingham Sheff Utd Coventry 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship Sheff Wed Hull Charlton 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 16th 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) Watford 7. Winners of the Premier League Liverpool 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) Pasha will win over Glen Mullan at some point 😁
  11. Today
  12. We really are tinpot these days aren't we?
  13. Last Saturday at Curzon Ashton the under 21's wore last season's red kit. The sub keeper, Adam Khan actually wore tracksuit bottoms from the season before.
  14. 1. Winners of the Championship Ipswich 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship Southampton 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship Leicester Birmingham Sheff Utd Middlesbrough 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship Sheff Wed Hull Oxford 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 14th 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) Hull 7. Winners of the Premier League Arsenal 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) Lewis Miller boomerangs go on sale in the club shop
  15. I actually think they were caught out with league one and two starting this weekend and just presumed they could stick the usual Wigan or something similar away in there.
  16. Let’s have your predictions in the following categories: 1. Winners of the Championship 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) 7. Winners of the Premier League 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) Post your replies below & we’ll see who is BRFCS’s own Nostradamus come next May! *The thread will be locked on 9th August*
  17. If that was the case, we might have seen it for at least a minute or 2 in pre season Much like last season, when Rovers have the ball, our left back will tuck inside and our right back will bomb forwards, making a back 3 when in possession, but a back 4 when out of possession
  18. I'm not sure. I think we might use that at times, but suspect that we'll mostly line up as have in pre season. Could see Alebiosu being used on the right as De Neve is on the left with Miller behind him.
  19. I have a feeling Miller might be seen as a RB and cover for CB. Would make sense and doesn’t overload. For the record, I am fairly sure VI is transitioning us into a 343. I’ve suspected it before, and he defo had his most successful stint as a manager playing 3 at the back. But when you look at the signings it’s pretty clear to me. De Neve and Alebosu are wing backs. The recent interview on the LT confirmed it. McLaughlin is a LCB and Miller it would appear is a RCB. Plus, we’re now devoid of any true wingers. Toth Miller. Hyam. Mclaughlin Alebiosu. Trav. Sonny. De Neve Kargbo. Yuki. Cantwell Incoming…..
  20. One and the same unfortunately. Pululu isnt coming here in a million years. Not confirmed until he's holding the shirt up, and even then it's probably 50/50. Also he's injured, so we won't be seeing him for a while, he might be a good player and fit but would rather someone come in who could hit the ground running, we seem incapable of that though.
  21. Another club with momentum and the fans just can’t get enough of it. Nobody is interested in buying us though, we’d be the next Bury Morecambe.
  22. Mercers 'transfer info' is the modern day team talk off teletext for those old enough to remember 🤣 Interestingly, or annoyingly depending on your interests, transfer news from inside the club has dried up since loose lips Waggott went, or stepped down to whatever job he's doing at present.
  23. Everything that has been said & written (now that Jackson has clarified his earlier waffle) implies that the 2 or 3 is before any outgoings the 2 is apparently an attacking midfielder & a right winger (I am assuming Baradji is seen as one of these) the possible 3rd being a centre back, which they by all accounts have not yet decided upon if they need or not. Although I suspect that in true Venkys style, because Miller can also play at centre back, they will no longer be looking for a centre back With any further outgoings meaning that number is added to (eg Miller from Hibs to replace Brittain)
  24. Not sure if already mentioned but Brum have, unsurprisingly, sold their initial allocation so will have over 7k at Ewood now they've been given more. Combined with sparsely populated home ends the noise will be quite horrific with THAT accent bellowing out 🥲
