  1. Past hour
  2. Why not put Litherland further up front, he could have scored 2 on his debut against Millwall. We need to do something up front, with Gudjohnssen sidelined.
  3. Sold ? I'd say one will be loaned, one paid off and released the last one i think it's vital we keep him.
  4. Wing forward or winger - be adaptable centre back is no longer the priority 7th best defence in the league but bottom 5 attack that’s the issue
  5. Well that would be a massive concern because if Val and the recruitment team don’t have an attacking player on their list (as confirmed recently by Val they have drawn up and are ready to approach) then they are failing us Ben Gibson from a loose Nixon story shouldn’t be on our radar
  6. Both have the same amount this season though. Poor players.
  7. Winger? For what? We played with wing backs and 2 striker. Yes we need a striker and centre back was the priority. Maybe creative midfielder we might look for. Do we right wing back? Probably not. Litherland has done great there
  8. ‘150th celebrations’… in err, the 151st year.
  9. We need more than one body so ideally a striker and another winger/wingforward with pace - don’t care who has the pace because our massive need is up top so I’d prefer us when the window opens to prioritise the attack - defence at present isn’t a priority
  10. Then you missed out of players might want. Rovers will sign 3 or 4 players and 3 or 4 will leave in this window. We need sign players we want when we can. For all we know, we come back close to signing a striker. Who knows?
  11. On a limited budget other positions are a priority. Once those positions are filled then a centre half can be addressed
  12. Each to their own, different people get players pictures in frames and get that player to sign it. Its 150th anniversary shirt and to get players to get signed it then framed it will mean alot to some people not all
  13. Gueye, may well have downed tools but he scored more goals and had more assists, last season than Henriksson will have in his Rovers career. Neither won't be long cos they 'ain't good enough ' even if we are relegated !
  14. Sheffield Wednesday while a bad side, aren't the pushovers they were back in August/September either. Scored twice and were unlucky not to beat Hull the other day who are flying. Two shattered sides who have to play two more games before the end of the week due to the ridiculous schedule. Inexpect very similar performances against Wrexham and Charlton.
  15. Another 3 points in the Should Have League. Things are looking pretty rosy in Neverland.
  16. That's proper old Memorabilia, not fictional over priced tat.
  17. Or people collect Rovers memorabilia? Or people who buy the shirt and get it all signed by players then picture frame it?
  18. Why not a striker with pace? Why cant sign a centre back whilst bringing in other players?.
  19. If Gudjohnsen has played we win that game. He is our fox in the box. We created enough first half to win that game. We didnt score when on top or upped our second half when the game was they for the taken Gueye hasn't been training well enough well others has. Gueye is to blame but his performances this season has been so poor. He knew he was the back up to Ohashi and Gudjohnsen this season, since then we seen nothing all season. Expecting he will go shortly after we bring a striker in. Cant agree on your Litherland and Pratt comments either.
  20. Get an early goal and we stroll to a win. We didn’t so we didn’t. Millwall we did get that early one and it was a comfortable afternoon. So little attacking threat we need to score when on top early doors.
  21. This always happens when a player isn't selected for a few games on here. Believe me, Henriksson offers much more up top than Gueye, and thats saying something.
  22. I know Gueye isnt very good but he must be better than playing Henriksen up front. Gueye scored the winner at Hillsborough last year in a one nil win. Cant help but think that even though he isn't up to standard he is still an option in a thin squad and would've given us another option to break them down. In terms of the others, I think Litherland doesn't have enough thrust to be a right wing back but looks very comfortable on the ball, Pratt needs a loan and to improve his short passing. Baradji faded quickly but needs to be persisted with. Tronstad is our best player by a mile in my opinion. I like Lewis Miller I just don't rate him very highly.
  23. My knowledge of the youth system isnt great, so it really frustrates me that there is a player as you describe who could have offered us something different last night even for the last 10 minutes.
  24. One of the worst games of football I’ve ever seen at this level. The players looked like they’d been sent out without any plan or direction. Cantwell the worst culprit, seemingly not able to pass the ball properly or shoot on target despite earning £10k+ a week or whatever this joke of a club are paying these days. And continually dropping deep behind the midfield to get the ball when he’s supposedly playing number 10. The schedule is ridiculous over Christmas, 4 games in 8 days with very little rest in between, especially as our first 2 have been away from home. However the standard last night is a sad indictment of what this club has become. Cantwell sums this up - a tired washed up footballer nowhere near the level of his best years in the Premier League. No passion, no direction, no quality, no plan. He simply does not reflect the values our club & fans. He should never have been made captain in my opinion. Venky’s Out!
