  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe Glen can drop them a message lol
  3. We could be relegated 3 years in a row and the owners would still be here. Just cutting things even more to the level we operate at.
  4. At this point, I would just drop every single player who has a year left on their contract (Tronstad, Travis, Hyam, Hedges) and perhaps hand the captain's armband over to McLoughlin. Ismael seems to have lost their confidence in him anyway and needs to build an entirely new squad by the looks of it. This game comes way too early for us, fear a big defeat honestly. Toth Alebiosu Miller McLoughlin Ribeiro Henriksson Tavares Kargbo Ohashi Cantwell Gueye This lineup have zero defensive cover in central midfield but it might be able to score a goal at least.
  5. I'm not sure they would even be aware if we were relegated
  6. Kargbo. For me he should only be used as an outlet when we're winning a game and the other team are chasing a goal. Leave him on the half way line and hit his pace when we win the ball back. You can't bring him on when needing a goal he runs down blind alleys far to much, and with defending team sitting back he has no space to exploit with his pace.
  7. 5 out of 23 league games we wore it - Plymouth, Sheffield Wedneday, Milwall, Derby, Luton.
  8. Venkys taking us down, Ismael is just the useful idiot. (as he's probably beginning to realise).
  9. "We made a great offer to Trav" well you clearly didn't and you also pissed off the club captain so much he is desperate to leave. This season is shaping up to be a disaster; thanks for the excitement Rudy... Only slight hope is that the owners finally sell when it goes to sh*t. They won't want relegation again; it creates too big a drop in revenue that they would never make up in cost-cutting. The cuts only work on a championship revenue, but at rate Pasha/Rudy are destroying the squad we won't maintain that.
  10. Where have you read that? LET says right winger.
  11. Apart from 7 in the league last season......
  12. I don't see the strikers taking them if they do. Some of the approach play last night was good but the finishing was crap.
  13. When Travis inevitably leaves, that'll be 1,442 Championship appearances out of the door this summer (not including last seasons loans). Last season alone, 211 Champ appearances. So far that has been replaced by 117 Championship appearances (all McLoughlin). You can't lose that vast level of experience and expect to have even a half-decent season. Alarm bells are ringing, and Saturday already feels like a big moment in the season really.
  14. Why would a battering to heavily fancied Birmingham make a considerable difference to media spotlight? They dont seem that arsed about whats going on at Wednesday. Even if we lose comfortably and there are a few chants, it wont make any difference in the media.
  15. Iโ€™m the same but willing to give him a chance considering what he has to work with here itโ€™s a hard gig but a Barnsley fan saying that is crazy
  16. Im not convinced by him. But its astounding how Barnsley fans who saw him take them to 5th think hes shit.
  17. Last night was disappointing from Ismael. I really thought we should have made changes at half time (despite scoring just before) along with a change of shape. I felt we should have gone to a back three and got our wing backs really pushing forward as we just didn't hurt them from wide positions. Pickering and Montgomery hardly got forward at all. The disappointment for me was that Ismael didn't do anything and when he did later on we looked all over the place with too many square pegs in round holes. Last season when we went a goal in front his changes invariably were to make us more solid defensively to hold on for the win. Going behind presents him with a situation I really think he struggles with. At 2-0 down yesterday he was bringing everyone back for Bradford's corners and set pieces. I found that infuriating but in fairness the last four Rovers managers have done this. It's almost like he is conditioned and finds a reluctance to do something different during the actual game.
  18. We need someone comfortably better than those two rather than "competition". I like Yuki as an impact sub but Gueye is awful.
  19. It says "they aim to bolster the attack", it means "right winger "(as per Ismael at the weekend, stiker is not mentioned ๐Ÿ˜ž
  20. The most comfortable away game of the season for Brum. 2 up at least by half time while we struggle to get anywhere near there area. Rovers 0 Birmingham 3 Rovers first effort on target in the 80th minute.
  21. I think i originally had de neve next to him
  22. Making the mistake of thinking the playing side is the priority here. Michalski and Montgomery are probably at least 80% cheaper than Pears and Buckley. That is the answer to why those two are favoured.
  23. TBH, an absolute battering will give Pasha, Gestede and Ismael nothing to hide behind and the wider media might just start to take note of what is really happening at Rovers. It's time the fans turned big time on the club and it's powers that be - Saturday would be a fine time to start should the expected battering materialize.
  24. Ismael has one more transfer target, a striker according to the LT. We should have moved for a striker 6 weeks ago, it would give Ohashi and Gueye competition.
