  1. Past hour
  2. If Rovers decided to sell the stadium, chaddy would simply demand a video explaining the decision to the stakeholders.
  3. Centre backs ranging from good to average to totally out of the picture to well past their best. So no top level centre backs that a team with supposed aspirations of winning major tournaments would expect to have.
  4. I know he said it. My point was that its irrelevant. I dont get why you become so fixated over what people say rather than results/actions. Thats good news though if he carries on being as bad as he has been. Hes made them far worse since he joined.
  5. It's a PR disaster regardless of communication. Especially when a senior member of staff is on the same packet as running the whole women's team for a year? I'm pretty sure?
  6. So you can’t explain how those steps could have avoided a PR disaster- unsurprisingly, as obviously they couldn’t possibly have.
  7. Its just keep worse and worse for Lancashire this season, Its not good enough
  8. Their lawyers will be awaiting instruction from their clients and as we know that never happens quickly.
  9. dont agree Matty but of course you would disagree with me, see ya
  10. I did, and none of those ‘comms’ steps would have avoided a PR disaster.
  11. His contract will probably run to the end of June so nowt will probably happen until then but i wouldn't be surprised if he's the first loss of the summer.
  12. The articles says ‘exclusively reveal’
  13. Due to a complete cock-up on the ordering front I have a single ticket to see Bruce Springsteen at Anfield on Wednesday 4th June I would like to get rid of. My wife and I are going with friends on Saturday 7th and my son was buying an odd ticket near us to come along but between us we managed to order for the wrong date. I'd like some money for it but I'm happy to accept less than we paid for it. PM me is you're interested. It's a seated ticket on the Kop.
  14. You said it was a ‘PR disaster’, so how could Waggott or anybody else have avoided that?
  15. never said this sort of decision would be good PR did I Matty
  16. So it wouldn’t have been good PR regardless.
  17. a decision like that would be unpopular mostly, but communicate the decision to the players directly to them personally and properly, not lead it to the women head coach to do it. Also communicate the decision to the supporters by a video explaining the reasons why and what happens going forward. Rovers aren't proactive media relations wise and not smart. I have no interest in women football or watching Rovers Woman team but the decision is wrong one and axing it is wrong move.
  18. Today
  19. Might be that, but its a couple of months old https://www.livemint.com/sports/news/blackburn-rovers-fans-demand-venky-s-sell-the-club-after-years-of-decline-11741957414881.html
  20. So glad that Sunderland won. For about 70 minutes they were second best. But they have always seemed to be a team of rubbish first half but better second half. IMO they were the best team to visit Ewood this season followed by Sheff Utd. Good luck to them.
  21. He did say it, I posted the link where he said it. He has confirmed that he is staying for next season and will be backed with £100m plus other money from sales like Rashford, Garnacho(who it has been reported by well trusted Journalists that he is up for sale) and Mainoo.
  22. 1000% correct, I find its very annoyed how much some people rubbished what Southgate actually did but its been our best performances since 1966 and 1996. plenty of good centre backs like Stones Guehi, Tomori, Branthwaite, Colwill, Konsa tbh, I think Wharton would benefit from a summer of rest and being fresh for next season
  23. Well done Sunderland. Sunderland will used the PL money to buy potential and not waste money like Southampton and Burnley did but continue with what their plan has been since their owner came in. I think Bellingham will stay unless he has an offer from Dortmund or something like that. Wouldn't surprise me if Moyes at Everton went for him They got new owners and still second season PL parachute money but I think Hamer will have PL teams after him and I think Cooper and Souza might aswell
