  1. Past hour
  2. DeNeve doesn’t look like a player to me. We will no doubt see if he is in the future.
  3. Does he actually wear all the spare shirts ?
  4. I'm twisting nothing but asking you some questions on your post I seen the BBD a different situation to others one(apart from The Rothwell January one) and these ones this summer. But we can't keep allowing players to walk away for free, odd one fair enough but not 5 or 6 good solid players yet we made 10 signings. Surely we should only offered what we afford within the wage budget, is it too low or other clubs offer players much more than we can afford within the budget. Also if for example give Travis what he wanted then you also created problem with other players demand similar wages cos they are also key players within the squad. do you not see that? based on what? add context to your point? some players settled quickly than others. Someone like Ryan Alebiosu would settled faster than Dion De Neve. I gave you the Tronstad who we didn't see for 2 months then he has been key player for us ever since. Yes granted some overseas players don't settled well or perform well enough and its a huge gamble, to signed so many but you can target English speakers which help take some of the gamble away first, it was a good for vast majority we control, defended well and if Karbgo had score that chance we 2 nil up and winning that game. That's has been constant opinion from 5pm on the Saturday of that game
  5. If you’ve got to play the big clubs now is the time to do it. Before they get their new signings integrated into the machine.
  6. That doesn't seem to make any sense in response to what I said.
  7. hope you get better soon Phillipl, hope it nothing serious
  8. Liverpool don't look the same team as last season, so slow. Guess the international break hasn't helped them either Burnley very solid at the back
  9. I'll be honest I can't see it, if relegation happens, who do we even play?
  10. To be fair, those death spirals seem common at Rovers regardless of manager. Thin squads unable to cope with a 46 game season.
  11. have to say what a poor post, you just come across a utter moron Sigurdsson has moved on and I suggest you do to
  12. I was actually going to write what they got away with in the Championship. 😃
  13. Penny for Ashley Barnes’s thoughts on that handball…👀
  14. Today
  15. The kit man's celebration explained.
  16. Genuinely wonder if they’ll see the season out
  17. If Tony 'Death spiral' Mowbray is the answer, then I'd hate to see what the question is.
  18. Burnley defended ever so well against an impotent Liverpool but to down to a last minute penalty. I chuckled when the Neanderthals were singing 'Premier League, corrupt as f***' for what was a clear penalty. And Liverpool played the game at testimonial pace.
  19. Here's why Sigurdsson left Rovers...always injured..good riddance
  20. Yes…the feed hadn’t updated the new squad members automatically - @StubbsUK will add manually if necessary for next time out…
  21. Burnley shut out Liverpool for 95 minutes and then concede a stupid penalty - funny
  22. Currently having another howler against Stockport 4-1 to them as it stands with 5 to go
  23. De Neve reminds me of the period when we signed a load of random Portuguese lads, played a few games, and were never heard of again. I do not understand the signing at all. Henricksson and Tavares have more pedigree, Henricksson in particular seemed to be a fan favourite with great scoring stats for a midfielder. Hopeful that both will come good when they've adjusted to the league.
  24. I suspect you know the following and are purposely twisting my point. My issue is not with a policy of selling players with a year to go. Although when we didnt, you also defended the club on that. My issue is with the total inability and unwillingness to offer competitive contracts. Its with one contract being sorted in 2 years. The wage structure is clearly too low. And on your other points. Yes, Gestede is a prick. And why is it when a signing looks good based on very few games, its deemed a good signing. But when one looks poor, its because hes not had enough time? Surely it works both ways? Based on what we have seen before, some are better than others, although things may change in the future. We conceded 2 really poor goals. Not unlucky, not bad decisions made out of control. Fully of our own making. Got what we deserved.
  25. The Tractor Boys plough their way to Ewood…a return for Sammie of course. Some recent meetings…
