  1. Past hour
  2. The Baradji story is also credited elsewhere isn't it? (transferfeedcom)
  3. I'm jumping onto this thread late, but some incredible (and heartbreaking) stories and experiences. For me personally, it's the apathy that concerns me the most. I grew up a couple of lengthy stone throws from the stadium, in the Dalglish era - I could see the floodlights and hear the crowds from my bedroom window long before I even went to my first match and fell in love with football. I remember being a football-obsessed teenager whereby my entire mood was dictated by how Rovers did. England losing to Germany on penalties in the semi final of Euro '96 and Rovers being relegated under Kidd absolutely devastated me. Now, we lose most games at home and, whilst I watch every game on telly out of sheer habit / a false sense of loyalty, a conceded goal barely registers any emotion. What once was a punch to the gut is now...pretty much nothing. Just apathy.
  4. That was the joke Didn't translate to text well
  5. Is there a slight difference between the 2 posts in that on the Baradji one, Rover Xtra is claiming it as his/her own story (ditto the Cashin one) whereas with the TGH one he/she is simply regurgitating a rumour from someone else?
  6. we can sign him in a year or 2 when we get there then
  7. In fairness to TGH, didn't Blues fans really rate him in league one?
  8. report of yesterdays mullering https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2026/january/13/report--rovers-under-18s-1-6-blackpool-under-18s/
  9. Cov and Orient drew so we qualify in Prem League Cup
  10. Well if he'd predicted someone would sign almost every other day in January before today he'd have been wrong. If it turns out someone is unveiled tonight or in the morning then obviously there was something in it.
  11. Further update. Deal is now close and it's a forward. Will happen either tonight or tomorrow. From Brockhall.
  12. Its an old story from a month ago (the date is on the twitter post), to support the post I replied to that stated "But a story saying that we are "preparing" to sign a player for a pre agreed fee is a non story" The TGH permanent deal was obviously also a non story But for the record, Id not sign him either, I personally would have sent him back if the option was there
  13. He was playing in the famous 5-2 game against Plymouth. I thought the other lad playing up front with him , Billy Rafferty ? , looked a better prospect at that time.
  14. Not been impressed at all personally
  15. TGH is definition if average squad player. But wouldn't he need to basically half his salary for our arbitrary wage cap? He's supposed to be on more than 15k at B'ham no?
  16. He's been ordinary, and that's being kind, but the agents and middlemen will still get paid!
  17. Speculative roll of the dice, calculated bullshit, you'll get something right one day.
  18. Dire Straits - Romeo And Juliet
  19. 2 year deal for a £1.5m player would be ridiculous even for us. But a story saying that we are "preparing" to sign a player for a pre agreed fee is a non story.
  20. Wrong thread. Again. Debates in the other one about who said what and ner ner ner ner ner. 😊👍🏻
  21. Two-year deal is pointless, just guarantees we sell him this summer or next summer. I wish we supported a club who actually tried to build a squad and not just line agent pockets. Furthermore, its clearly the usual desperation and unwillingness to sign anyone in Jan. Baradji is the easy deal since it's already agreed, but they'll try to point to it and tell the fans "look we are signing players". Good deal, but pathetic by the club.
  22. Today
  23. I haven't poured anything on anything, not once have I urged anyone not to boycott, they can make their own mind up, the main thread is boycott or not? Change the title yourself if you want to dictate rather than discuss.
