  1. Past hour
  2. Having cut costs on things like players travel budgets, ground maintenance and Sky sports in the blues bar, Suhail now takes his financial hatchet to the players wage bill. This despite the current manager saying he wants to keep the players. And people are thinking it’s some kind of cunning footballing change? Looking for a different mentality of player? Bloody hell, half the people we bring in have just been relegated.
  3. That is not good enough for Blackburn Rovers
  4. Got to 7th last year with no support from Jan onwards.
  5. Is modern football now at the Facebook mum 'hun, here for you xx' level
  6. I find the narrative that hes collateral damage in an attempt to "change" to be a bit of a stretch. We wanted him to stay, he was an important player. We offered him a contract that like many wasnt sufficient. The manager didnt want or expect as much change that has happened. He isnt this hanger on that has been left behind as we move forward for the better. And he is a good Championship midfielder who knows how to win games and leads by example.
  7. Mate, do you go and watch the games!? Kinel, I’ve heard some sentimental stuff in my life but this is insanity!
  8. Might help her blood pressureβ€¦πŸ˜†
  9. We all know the culture throughout the club has been rotten for years. We’ve been perennial losers. The total inability to come back from going behind. The total lack of ability to win midweek away matches. Always losing the big games. Always managing a win when it doesn’t matter anymore. These things tell me all I need to know. So a clear out was needed. Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t. But a least we are trying to do something different.
  10. I don’t doubt that. And I assume she’d provide some more context if she wasn’t shackled by a non disclosure agreement, or worried about legal repercussions. I just don’t think what she’s written helps anyone.
  11. Suppose you see a different side to him in the interview- clearly didn't want to go and was Rovers through and through..
  12. He's been given chance after chance and failed to deliver. I'm delighted he's been shipped out.
  13. Nothing he hasnt freely admitted himself in the past. Man of principle? Do me a favour - Which manager doesn't try his utmost for the Club he's working for? (Apart from him) Too many people fooled by the old "Jumpers for goalposts, lemon drizzle cake" routine.
  14. Couldn't afford him. Will also never forgive him for hiding on the wing for 6 months.
  15. The cryptic posts annoy me too. We know the clubs shit behind the scenes. We don't want hints and wink winks. Either tell us or don't post anything at all.
  16. I think the Venkys have let BRFC down ,a hell of a lot more than Lewis Travis ! They are the problem !
  17. He already stated why he let us down he alleged he has refused to play or train. Not rocket science Rev
  18. Absolutely mental some of things coming out of that podcast. Tony happy with mid table? Didn't ask for investment when we were so close? I can't understand it.
  19. ? Totally agree and always have with this.
  20. I'm glad we're not paying money for loans - so we may look very attractive to PL clubs, but we wouldn't be at the front of the queue.
  21. Oh for the days when players didn’t have social media to vent their views, emotions, grievances etc etc. Tweets, photos, emojis, so boring and too much self indulgent garbage being spouted. We’re all supposed to feel sorry for rich footballers who feel hard done to because someone has dented their egos. Footballers and managers rarely show loyalty to their clubs, but my goodness do they milk it when they want a move, a bigger pay packet or feel hard done to. Football has become like an episode of Love Island off the field.
  22. It's hard to defend the club, but it's starting to feel like we may actually be shipping a few bad apples out.
