  1. Past hour
  2. Bit of a change in tone from when we had our Kean out and Venkys out days. The Soccer Saturday panel tore into the fans at every opportunity. Worst fans in the league, poison, toxic, spoiled etc. I nearly put a big screen through one Saturday afternoon I was so incensed. Then came them rolling out the smear attack on the fans with Jerome Anderson. Not watched SSN since. They were PR campaign against us and we've never recovered we get no sympathy from the wider football world.
  3. And yet in the last 10 years I can’t think of many better holding central midfielders we have had than Travis or Tronstadt (Wharton excepted). He’s been better than Lowe, Evans, Grimes, Guthrie, Akpan, Bennet, Tunnicliffe, Williamson, Smallwood, Trybull, Whittingham, JRC, Davenport, Buckley, Johnson, Holtby, Garrett, Morton, Baker, Forshaw, Baker. The only one I can find is possibly Harrison Reed. And most of those above were brought in during eras when we probably paid more like the going wage in salaries and loan fees. Tronstadt is an absolute one off. There is very little chance that if Travis leaves we will get someone in of the same quality. The damage was done 6 to 18 months ago by not renewing his contract. I reckon a lot of these would have renewed last November / December under JE. Money brought in doesn’t help the squad, so for the sake of our Championship status I hope we keep him and he walks on a free next summer,
  4. Moneys too tight to mention -simply red
  5. Then people will wonder why despite cutbacks the running costs don't come down. How many others are they still paying i wonder.
  6. In the FF meeting Suhail answered the initial question regarding Waggott with one word. It took a lot of probing around directorial responsibilities and EFL rules for him to admit that Waggott was still employed. He seemed very reluctant to do so. I don’t think Lowe being absent from Brockhall or Ewood will necessarily mean he isn’t being paid by Rovers. I expect that both he and Waggott will have very nice looking gardens at the end of the summer.
  7. Don’t think I’ve seen him play CB. Miller took a lot of stick from the pundits up here for a lot of heavily punished defensive errors, but he had his moments too. I’d say he’s more of a “no nonsense” type of player. Different type of wing back to Alebiosu. Maybe it’ll be a bit of a horses for courses situation for you guys depending on who you’re playing and what tactics you want to employ. Alebiosu is a much more impactful player in my opinion though.
  8. Yeah. That happened. A couple of examples of club requested songs I vetoed: Take Me Home, Country Roads (someone had been to Old Trafford) Glad All Over. More than once.
  9. I’d request a cut of his transfer fee but we all know he’d leave on a free.
  10. LeAnn Rimes - How Do I Live
  11. Very good chance of it happening .
  12. Kidder Street Noise are recording it…this week I imagine…
  13. In the apologies you should add the owners evertime 😆
  14. Apologies I've probably missed it but when is the podcast due to air?
  15. The teams mingle… #Mindgames 😆
  16. Today
  17. It’s getting serious now…the last 8…up against Premier League giants Man City for a semi-final spot…
  18. Nice one! I liked the look of Miller too.. Looks a right dirty sod! Is he any good at centre half?
  19. hate to see us lose but i agree, pasha has an ego even bigger than waggots,a volley of abuse after every defeat would certainly cause him some heartbreak, don`t think he`s used to being anything but the main man, needs knocking down a peg or ten
  20. We air sailing so close to the wind with this shit. I know we're OK for now but fk I don't wanna let it get to this point.
  21. apologies if it's been posted or seen of late I'm sure it has @RoryRoversIreland @glen9mullan
  22. I just do everything on my phone now. It is easier but understand the physical jaunt to collect a ticket adds a bit more to it
  23. Hi Folks, St. Mirren fan here. As someone who watched both Alebiosu and Lewis Miller extensively in the Scottish Premiership, I can confirm that Alebiosu is a far superior RWB. Just bear with him. He was initially a slow burn with us while he settled, but he soon became a fantastic player. We were desperate to get him back this season. Like most WBs these days, his defensive qualities aren’t his main strength, but if you are going to be the type of team that will give him licence to go forward, then you won’t be disappointed. Not suggesting he’s a poor defender, just that it’s not his main attribute. Hope he does well, really likeable big fella.
  24. I get the minutes but we need a starting squad that's gelling. This would of been a good match for that purpose
