  1. Past hour
  2. I can’t see us spending real money on a player that will improve the first 11 in a hurry. They’ll use the academy lads coming in at the back as an excuse not to sign defenders. O’Riordan will probably stay at Donny now. Baradji is knocking on the door for a start so that’s midfield taken care of. Up front we may get a loan signing. That’ll be it.
  3. You mean other than the fact there were seven thousand on?
  4. I was at a “ do “ for a relative so I got to watch the second half of the Spurs v Liverpool game. Do people really pay big bucks to watch walking football ? The number of stood still from me to you back to me back to you 10 yard passes was unbelievable. The players are robbing a living. The red card was a red card in today’s football but the Liverpool player made a complete meal of it.
  5. "Posh defeat Royals"? They were playing the Valiants, not Reading.
  6. We want players who come in and made an impact straight away. I think we will look more domestic market, SPL and EFL so that can been done more easily
  7. He’s a finisher, simple as that really.
  8. mahktars absence today is telling us all he won`t be here in january, apart from a brief spell last season when he looked like a half decent centre forward,he`s been a poor signing, this season he`s overweight and and unfit
  9. Was in Jack’s Kitchen today, it was packed which I was pretty surprised about considering 12.30 game and our horrendous home form. Listening in to conversations and around me in the ground, any boycotts were generally just scoffed at. Of course, the fact there was probably just 8,000 or so rattling around Ewood tells you all you need to know regardless but I really doubt it will be significantly emptier for Watford than it was today.
  10. delighted for Harry Leonard

  12. Not read or watched Neil interview but Neil is bang on there. Their players didn't look up for it Yes we need some signings in January but I am pleased that we witness Litherland play today and so well. Pratt also good. I thought he did better job there than Gueye would have done. He chase well, a couple of good link up, look better there than deeper. Not saying its his long term role but can do a job.
  13. The maintenance staff and stadium staff should know and fix the problem without having to speak to the owners, CEO or senior management staff
  14. Spurs are self imploding again
  15. The owners should know but havent bothered coming over in a decade. They clearly dont care about the state of the facilities hence their denial of a full pitch revamp a couple of years ago.
  16. We did well today. I read earlier in the week that Millwall have looked tired lately and have had issues with central midfielders in particular. Neil wasnt happy with their application today based on his post match interview. But we still took advantage and won comfortably. But the squad is still a state overall. Henriksson didnt do anything when he came on really. He isnt up to standard. We need 2 more strikers because Ohashi and Gudjohnsen are being run into the ground.
  17. Today
  18. Who cares if it’s ’carnage on here’. There was ‘carnage’ anyway because the likes of De Neve are crap. You play good footballers whatever the route to the first team. It’s the job of those down there to make judgements on players not give a feck what Rovers Lad75 on a forum thinks.
  19. Can you imagine the repsonse on here if Rovers didn't spend money on those we and said we bringing through a couple of academy players instead, it was carnage on here. did a good job when he came on. Maybe that's a better role for him Given Millwall are top 6 before this game, we deny them much quality in their game and force Neil into a tactical change to match us. We provided the moments of quality. I expect much better from Millwall but we never witness that Rovers managed the game and second half we stopped them and was pragmatic in approach.
  20. So if we signed 2 players from random foreign leagues on cheap fees and wages permanently and a loan, youd consider that as being backed? Either option would give a high probability of relegation.
  21. “He lives in shouting distance of Ewood Park and has aspirations to play for the club. He has had offers over the years to go elsewhere but wanted to stay.”
