A couple of things I noticed just from being sat in the Riverside - two broken signs need removing or replacing and the far wall needs cleaning and re- painting. Would probably cost next to nothing in the general scheme of things but just shows the owners (if they know) or more probably their lackies couldn't care less. Jack's statue needs restoring back to its original condition as well.

I'm glad I saved my £30 odd quid. But a great result, well done lads.

Thought Henrikson did a good job when he came on, albeit without the ball. Might be an option in the future rather than Gueye.

Part of me does wonder how Leonard would do in Gudjonson's role. The 352 really helps a non physical striker, and Leonard never got the luxury of playing in a two unfortunately. Id we were still in 4231 i think Gudjonsen would really struggle.

Why waste money on terrible players like De Neve, Tavares and Henriksson when our academy is surely producing footballers that are far better? Is it just so that we're seen to be "spending" to "improve" the team rather than the perception being that we're selling senior players and replacing them with academy players?

I don't know what Rovers' budget is. I wish I did. I think he will be back with signings he wants, so we will see by the end of January window if I am right or wrong. If we can bring in 3 quality players ideally 2 permanent signings then I can say with certainly he has been backed. If we look for only promising young players(unde4r 21) then I don't think that should be our only focus. I don't mind we add the odd young player in January tho

Pretty much. He's scored 7 goals before Christmas in a struggling team. I wish he'd win more headers as a target man, but I can't really complain about the output. He's a goal scoring striker.

Crawley needs to play that way, no loose stupid driving on the up outside off stump. That was the key to his batting. I think he would benefit from a Langer type coach who would drill that into him. Duckett and Pope dismissal are poor ones. Think we need a new opener next to either Crawley or Duckett. A new number 3 and I hope we get Jacob Bethall his chance for the last 2 tests, Not seen much of him as a test player but lets see what he can do.

If he does keep putting the ball in the net I don't really mind. It's if he doesn't the problem arises as I still think his all round game is terrible. He's like Jordan Rhodes but nowhere near as clinical in front of goal and with a worse all round game imo. However if he can notch something approaching 20 goals he'll do for me.

He puts the ball in the net more often than anyone else. That's his game, getting into the right place at the right time and after a rough start he's showing he can be a good poacher at this level. Its on the rest of the team to provide good enough service when you have a poacher like that in the side.
