  1. Past hour
  2. Even if they find him another position in the club it's a fair old 'unsackable' statement again. He must have some gigantic pay off written into his contract or something.
  3. The manager is going to be undermined, big time, if Lowe makes another comeback. Lazarus will be his new nickname too.
  4. I wonder if Buckley and Pears might start tonight for any watching scouts?
  5. There should be an extra 5% added on to every fee for every player that played for us last season as well. What is the record for the number of players moving from one team to another in one transfer window because they're surely close at this point?
  6. His official team photo - https://www.rovers.co.uk/teams Unless he shaved it all off and looks like one of the coneheads?
  7. The lad had a baseball cap on all preseason. I'm convinced enough to consider it fact at this point.
  8. If any with the crazy online only ticket system.
  9. Hasn't he had a cap on in all pics? His official club photo is him with a cap?
  10. Just numbers on a screen to them and will have had little to no impact on their business empire and personal wealth. In fact the 200 million plus is probably in counted as being in the portfolio rather than the debt column. So when some say hey these lot are worth 1.2 billion that .2 is little old Rovers by way of the VLL spread sheet....
  11. Is that hair transplant rumour actually fact or an old wives tale that's gained a bit of traction because Nixon said "a Championship player" had had one thats gone wrong?
  12. Put a "3" where the "1" is and at least there's something to discuss!
  13. Maybe Lowe is leaving in due course, but is actually working some sort of notice period in the meantime as opposed to being paid up immediately or being on gardening leave? Would seem an insane way to go about it but hey ho - this is Venky's. Needs clarifying either way. My guess, VI has been over ruled.
  14. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/live-blogs/transfer-news-live-updates-tuesday-august-12/2JWV8dxEWLPn/ Derby bid 1.5million for Trav.
  15. I’m guessing you’re an absolute happy clapper, there’s no β€œlong term plan” you’re falling for their shite, it’s simple cost cutting.. no future with venkys and pasha in charge
  16. They will have smelled blood, I wonder how by how many they will be outnumbered, not loads I imagine.
  17. Seen worse theories. Can't see what "leverage" a few agent's would have over Venky's though. Still think it's a matter of pride for them
  18. Unless Lowe is taking them to a tribunal (purely speculation by me) for unfair dismissal. Not knowing the circumstances and the confusion caused by Shaikhey it's left open to speculation.
  19. I think we should Occam's Razor this one actually - our internet team are shite.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if VI wasn't too impressed with the hair transplant gone wrong as a reason to miss a proper preseason, and the relationship may have deteriorated from there. Just a guess of course.
  21. Would appear to be a clear difference between the respective employment status of say Waggott who isn't on the list and Lowe, who still is, despite VI stating he was leaving.
  22. I noticed he was in there, but Tuffys job change happened over a month ago, so Lowe is still like Schrodinger's first team coach in my eyes Unfortunately that staff page has always been badly maintained. It had Ryan Kidd as U18 assistant manager for most of last season too, despite it being Tuffy, yet other positions seem to get updated almost straight away Obviously if Lowe was previously removed, and then re-added, it paints a picture as to developments though
  23. The Venky's 200m++ losses haven't vanished into thin air. The money has gone from India into football pockets. If you simply look at the money trail you have billionaires in India who won't particularly notice those losses and an agent network around Blackburn firmly attached to the teat. Presumably that network has some leverage which means Venky's can't or won't walk away. The EFL has far more problematic clubs than Rovers to worry about so Rovers can be a handy conduit for whatever. The original plan was to effect agent ownership of PL players but that got scotched so agent interest in having Rovers in the elite was no longer so great. Now it is all hunky dory in the Championship for the network so long as we don't accidentally get promoted to the Premier League where the public spotlight is very different... Just a guess.
