  1. Past hour
  2. Keira Walsh captaining the England team.
  3. Respect your opinion on all such matters but disagree. (Not that it matters now anyway -plus we had plenty of chance to set up and defend it.) In the box, barge in the back, penalty -most certainly in the prem. Agree, that in the Championship you generally have to kill someone first. Also, reverse it. So, defender running towards his own goal line, often trying to shepherd the ball out for a goalkick, forward touches defender slightly from behind, never mind barges him in the back, ref/lino gives free kick all day long. Such an easy decision for the lino to give in this instance. Hedges doesn't touch the ball until after the shove -I could understand if he is making a 'brusque' tackle with his feet - he isn't -he is running towards his own goal, shoves attacker more in the back than shoulder and then collects the ball. Attacker falls over and says thanks very much. Anyway, all done and dusted. All about opinions. Perhaps more interesting/galling is the victim mentality that is emerging and being offered as an excuse, along with the home crowd deficiency narrative. As an aside, it would be interesting to know if you have any solutions to the refereeing ‘crisis’ that is regularly cited by many fans in social media, on the terraces and by football pundits.
  4. Though the Sky guide for Sky Sports + isn’t listing it, but then there is a PL game on there, so yeah, presumably red button.
  5. Oh that’s good for me. Was thinking to go, but can’t be arsed.
  6. This game is now being listed as being on Sky Sports... https://www.skysports.com/watch/football-on-sky/competitions/championship
  7. If it's Carragher your referring to then be just be speaking with forked tongue because in the clip he calls it as a red. https://www.skysports.com/football/video/33727/13477696/chelsea-v-arsenal-jamie-carragher-analyses-moises-caicedos-red-card
  8. As well as the club there is a purchase necessary to buy the stadium, which is also owned by Chansiri but is a separate company. That's on top of the £30m or so.
  9. I mean, you'd think that would be the case but owners of football clubs make some of the stupidest decisions around.
  10. Today
  11. Potential owners have to show them had £50m proof of funds. This is cutting out waste of time bids. 3 potential owners have bidding £30m for the club. It will be interesting what any new owner plan is for the club cos the club is basically relegate before they purchase. So its massive rebuilding job. Surely they appoint an experience management team including good experience head coach
  12. Thanks Herbie! Just posted now 👍

  14. 80!!?? And yet some fans believe that NO ONE would be interested in Rovers?
  15. No i believe, they had to show proof of funds. Hence the £50m proof. Supposedly prefer bid to be announce this week I believe
  16. I have every confidence of us playing Burnley, Leeds and maybe Stevenage next season.
  17. Allegedly they had 80 interested parties, and preferred bidders have to show they have £50m available to fund the Club. Is that in addition to the £30m asking price?
  18. Yes been around hasnt it the 25p rule. Jordan wasnt the main man or investor but part investor with main investor being the main man. Ashley hasn't bidded enough either at £20m. But 3 bidders have bidding at £30m
  19. I saw this game alright here in Canada but the previous game I accidentally paid twice as it didn’t take me to a transaction completed page - zero response from them re my request for a refund.
  20. I'll believe it if he's still here in February. I think Cantwell thinks we're as thick as the Club do. "Hyperextension of the knee". Lol.
  21. Simon Jordan was saying last week how he had put together a consortium to buy Wednesday but they were put off by the EFL having a "25p in the pence rule". Apparently the former owner Chansiri must get a guaranteed amount or Wednesday get an extra 15 point deduction on top of everything else. I've never heard of this before. Is that right, and if so what's the reasoning behind it? Sounds like it's a reward for running the Club badly to me. Could it have adverse ramifications for us if Venky's ever agree to sell?
  22. Didn't watch the post match analysis so cant comment on their opinions. The ref didn't have to change his decision but did. Chelsea head coach said it was a clear red card.
  23. They'll probs still deduct three from us on Saturday 😅.
  24. Hiya - there is a dedicated section HERE that you can use 👍
  25. I saw Luke on many occasions and like yourself was saddened at the tragic circumstances . I
  26. Hiya! Just a quick one as I have a few Rovers shirts for sale on eBay at the moment and wondered what the rules were around linking to them on an existing thread or maybe creating a new thread with the links in there? Any guidance/ thoughts much appreciated! Also, which section of the messageboard should I post them in if it's indeed OK to? Cheers, Nick
  27. The two players analysing in the studio didnt think it was a red, they thought as I did that the ref's decision should have been left to stand and that it looked far worse in slow motion than it actually was. Let's see if you are of the same opinion the next time a Rovers players makes an honest but fractionally late challenge!
