  1. Past hour
  2. Yep. I mean he has pedigree at this level but his age is a bit of a worry.
  3. Lol maybe from 2015 when he used to play with us
  4. According to the daily mail, we are interested in Tom Lawrence. 32 years old and available for around £130k. Seems within range of our budget.
  5. I wouldn't 😒 even free agents seem to be a problem for our Venky tightwads.
  6. But he's free and plays a position we don't use in our formation. I'd be surprised if Rudy hasn't already been in touch.
  7. Im surprised at the level of vitriol they have towards supporters with a different viewpoint and this site in particular. Imo it merely reinforces the point that I was having a Mrs. Merton style "heated debate" with Matty about. There's absolutely no point trying to win the hearts and minds of everyone, some supporters just won't agree. However to my mind if a boycott has SOME success it's job done. Similarly if the Coalition feel a boycott and/or subsequent protests are the right thing to do they must press on regardless of whether some disagree. If anyone else wants to formally present the other point of view about why most of us on here and the Coalition are completely wrong then of course it's always open to them to do so. Tbf to chaddy he seems to be doing his best to emphasise everyone should respect everyone else's point of view on there.
  8. I do like the old 'You wouldn't be moaning if we were winning'.. Correct. I have nothing against the ownership other than the apparent malaise and lack of ambition. If tomorrow Venky's decided they were pumping money in, aiming to re-establish us a PL side. Did the stadium and Brockhall up. Appointed some top notch staff and players I'm sure everyone would be delighted. All I want is to enjoy watching the Rovers again. I'd love nothing more than the above to happen- but water in the bridge tells me it's very unlikely. They came in with big ambitions, champions league didn't they? Not we'll be lucky to stay in the Championship. Call me a sinical but I don't see any of that happening- for that reason, I just want them gone and a fresh start.
  9. Liam Feeney mk2 Very little end product at this level, is now 30 years old
  10. Keshi Anderson's contract terminated at Brum...One player I've always liked the look of.
  11. What I would say is the sentiments of that thread, even now, I hear in the ground on a regular basis.
  12. You can guarantee most of them will read this board more than they post on there. Has drog been on a recruitment drive on the LT comments section ? Seems to have a few from there, i cannot believe in 2026 after 15 years of that lot i'm still seeing 'naive' and 'bad advice'.
  13. He’s having a bit of an enforced time out, he’ll be back with a bang in a couple of weeks I’m sure
  14. Come to think of it we probably don't have an option That poster who went to the Ismael talk said that Ismail had said Toth and Cantwell had been offered new deals we wouldn't be offering Toth a new deal if he had next year plus a years option Venky Rovers only bother offering new contracts when a player has a year left
  15. It’s about a dozen ex-BRFCS on a loop. (Sure they’ll have a go at me now though I don’t ever recall falling out with any of them, well maybe, the Chadster).
  16. Today
  17. well done promoting division 👍🏻 in the fan base whoever crossed over to the other one
  18. What a strange place over there. Apparently I have special needs and lots of their members would like to do me physical harm. Then someone will use the in trend word "weaponise" again and theh will all be up in arms talking about respecting etc. The double standards currently on show is astonishing. How many members and contributors over there?
  19. He’s posting on there as of yesterday, last page of the thread Mark’s linked. Has he been banned? Normally he gets huffy if asked where he’s been ‘I’ve been on night shift!’
  20. Two other clubs in for him apparently so it’s a non starter. We only sign players when there’s no competition.
  21. Some familiar names on there. Take it Drog is thenodrog formerly of this parish and goozburger was formerly a reasonably regular contributor on here although he had a hissy fit with me at some point as I recall. Who's Old Darwen Blue - how dare he call me a lefty!🤣 I was also wondering where chaddy had gone but those particular posts seem to pre date his most recent posts on here. Maybe he's trying to work out how all the meticulous planning he said we'd done hasnt translated into signings yet.
  22. Who'd have thought that a shirt worn in one random early January Championship game, that ditches the famous blue and white halves and adopts what looks at distance more like a Bolton or PNE kit, hasn't flown off the shelves at £80 a time just after Christmas. Once again...if they were keen on doing a 'special' 150th anniversary kit it should have been revealed and released in the summer and worn all season long, not just in one game. And if they'd put some effort into it then it could have been a big seller. But no, the brains trust decide that we are going to have FOUR different kits for the season, totally unnecessary and only release the anniversary one months AFTER all the others, and crucially AFTER the anniversary events and AFTER Christmas. Beyond imbecilic down at that place.
  23. Indeed. That has always pissed me off...And yet, didn't they have to request advance payment of parachute monies? The whole thing stinks ....like a dead rat under the floorboards!
  24. Lost the plot that place, used to be a hornet’s nest of anti-Venkyism. In reality, just contrarians. As an aside, stand to be corrected, but I thought Barmitzvah Blue was Mike Graham, has he flip-flopped again? (Oh and that’s where the Chadster’s gone 😁. I was wondering why threads were no longer going down rabbit holes).
  25. Abso-bloody-lutely. So what news of these two strikers VI allegedly wants? Im not interested in yarns about loans for young wing backs from Villa or back up keepers until those are sorted.
  26. Not really surprising - I literally wouldn't accept one as a gift. It's an insult. I'd either give it away again or chuck it in the bin. Even if you're not as opposed to it on principle as I am - then there's the price. As with engraving the wrong date on the replica FA Cup it's hard to see how the Club can seemingly get everything SO wrong. Unless they're doing it deliberately to either wind people up and/or drive them away.
  27. Best post on here for a long time.purely for the raw reactions, amd people have finally let their guard down on here. There's a person behind every user name. We've all got lives outside of football. Loved ones, jobs, friends, no spouse, no friends, no job, other hobbies, no hobbies. We're all different but what unites us is that we've all walked a well trodden path by those who passed down their torch and in some instances, passed away leaving loving memories and a core of those memories is Blackburn Rovers, so it isn't just football, it's an intrinsic part of our daily living. It isn't something you can just forget about til next weekend. It's Football, our National Sport to which the world is now flooded with its gigantic presence. Its everywhere on the planet now. Who was at the forefront? Us. Blackburn Rovers amongst a few other old boys. We've been lucky to be able to see us standing at 150 years old. We are so lucky and that's because of the fans. Our families, our friends. It's their history too
