Well I’ve got every right to be optimistic as we are the second best away team in the division. -

A player who signed but isn't a 'signing'. Make that make sense! -

You dont factor in quality. We have a large number of players mainly signed in the summer who in theory should provide that cover but are that bad that they dont. The injuries we have in midfield wouldnt be problematic if Tavares wasnt woeful, Henriksson wasnt woeful and Baradji wasnt signed with a long term injury. Its easier just to make excuses. Cut backs in wages overlooked. Cut backs in concourse food quality for some reason not overlooked. -
They've not been great at Fratton Park this season. They are the lowest scorers along with us at home apart from Sheff Wednesday. (That doesn't include the 2 goals we had "rained off"). Defensively we have been OK. If Tronstadt plays I think we could nick this.

Rovers's January transfer needs

To reiterate, he would not be my pick, but I can see a signing of that ilk (cheap & hard working striker to come on and save Ohashi's legs in the second half of games) -

What drugs are you on, the other way round, 3-0 pompey. We've lost or drawn to every club below us, its a home banker win. -

I'm joining the exodus, and not turning up again. It's embarrassing watching Blackburn Rovers at home this season. We've drawn or been beaten, by every club below us, and we've the worst home record in the Championship. Until we get a manager in the dug out, that can win the odd home game, I'm staying away. -
Rovers's January transfer needs
roversfan99 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
As fans, we cant possibly know how many we will realistically be able to get. All we can surely comment on is how many we need. You keep mentioning a "long term Tronstad replacement" ever since Nixon came out with his propaganda piece saying thats what we supposedly want. Alebiosu cover will be too late with AFCON. We would save travel costs on Harris as their fans would be queueing up to drive him here. Very poor. If so many players have impacted us positively, then why are we doing so badly? You always talk about stockpiling. How many of them are first 11 quality AND are reliable in terms of fitness? None I would suggest. How about trying to improve the quality of the first 11? Novel idea I know. -

Of course he was a signing. We had the option of giving him a new contract and paying him a salary. Or bringing in someone else and paying them a salary. "Forshaw becomes Rovers’ second signing of the summer, following the arrival of Belgian winger Dion De Neve earlier this month." -

Your mistake was to say what transfers you think Rovers need in January in a thread entitled ‘Rover’s January transfer needs’ I wonder who called it that… -

Hopefully our away form can carry on for another game as we can't afford to lose this in my opinion. Portsmouth 1 Rovers 2 -
Fratton Park is usually noisy but they will be desperate after losing that 6 pointer at Swansea last night. Josh Murphy is the main threat so Aleboyusu will need to be on his game. Otherwise they seem typical scrappy Championship with more than average defensive mistakes but a decent keeper.

He said "most" not "all" so you didn't need to bring up Gudjohnsen's 6 goals as it's clear he isn't one of the ones who have been bad. Him & Alebiosu have been good, Mori is getting better and I think will be a good player, TGH is average. The rest have been poor to dreadful, with the jury out on Baradji. I can't understand anyone looking at McLoughlin and thinking he has been a good signing, bloke doesn't tackle & dreadful in the air for someone who is 6'3. You can see why Hull shunted him out to left back to keep him well away from anything going on in the middle. -

15 years and never finished in the playoffs. Nobody at Ewood park with authority to make decisions to change things. Not had a CEO for a long time. Nobody seems to have anything idea of what’s the short term or long term aims are. We’re the equivalent of tumbleweed blowing across the desert. F… knows where we’re going.

Not sure it was a 'comfortable' option, more a frustrated one where we've traipsed down to Ewood Park twice this season in the rain only to see the match abandoned. It's quite a time commitment. With no apology for Saturday and no resolution in sight, how could we trust this club to fulfil the fixture if it rains? -

Gudjohnsen 6 goals in 15 games,is that negative impact? Alebiosu been outstanding McLoughlin, Miller, TGH, Morishita all have a positive impact for me. Morishita is getting better.
