  1. Past hour
  2. Saving the planet again, good old Rovers everyone come by bus. bike or foot please. Only half price to park yer bike !
  3. I was told the concession for parking was for existing match day employees. Any new staff will have to pay is the information I was given.
  4. In fairness to Elliott he does cover most supporter stuff and needs to maintain a relationship with the club as part of his job. There will be bigger things to cover in the future than some minutes in a FF. He certainly gives good airtime to the supporters concerns and he's a decent guy. Its finding the balance so he dont get totally shut out by club, so fully understand the dilemma somethings can create.
  5. Obviously not one of ours anymore but noticed that Lenni Cirino popped up with a goal for Gillingham last night after being at Clitheroe last season. Good for him.
  6. Anyone able to say why the Lancashire Telegraph aren't posting an article about Glens minutes? I'm honestly thinking the LT just needs to be boycott, today's article is about Tavares. It's just the Rovers propaganda newspaper
  7. I thought it was already denied that matchday staff were going to be charged to park ? Another lie ? I mean. a football club bar for its own season ticket holders and people charged to go then not being about to watch Skysports is probably par for the course with the stupidity we've seen here down the years. Expecting people turning up to work a few hours to then have to pay to park is pushing it even for these pathetic clowns. I hope the concourse franchise dump the club, leave them high and dry i doubt they make much for the Ewood gig anyway.
  8. Succinct. 😂 I saw a clip on which hundreds were streaming out of the ground after twenty minutes. Martin just doesn't get it. His whole demeanour and words are adding fuel to the fire. They have Celtic coming up on August 31st too
  9. He’ll dazzle many a club hierarchy with this claptrap. Smart lad.
  10. ‘The precursor to change is pain’ Pretentious twat.
  11. Temp staff, often youngsters doing a Saturday job… and they are being charged £15 to park on their workplace carpark?! Cheers, Tony, new day, new snippet of farce emanating from the regime.
  12. I have been told that they are struggling to get catering staff and new stewards because they are charging them £15 to use the car parks. If that is true then the majority of them will be working for free for the first hour and a quarter. As an aside I haven't seen the concourse where we sit as quiet as it was on Saturday. There were very few people on there at 2.40 when we got on and there was nobody in the queue for food.
  13. I agree with you on this totally. If he'd have been French or Italian he'd have played for the absolute top teams and would be seen as one of the best. So glad I got to see the maestro play in the famous blue and white halves (reversed on the back, of course).
  14. Today
  15. It's going to be funny to watch when Celtic give them a right good bumming. I can't see the Rangers supporters having much in the way of patience for his bullshit.
  16. ‘When you're 2-0 down after seven minutes, tactics don't come into it’
  17. His post-match was an exercise in self-delusion.
  18. A lot of similarities between the two there as both are what they claim to be in name only.
  19. Yesterday
  20. Not many other serious football clubs actively want to force out / offload all proven quality players due to a cost cutting regime to the extent that they refuse to even discuss deserved new contracts causing managers to walk out mid-season. It doesn't happen elsewhere because no other owners/board would allow it. Only the freak show at Ewood and the chickens will soon be coming home to roost.
  21. 100% correct, refuse to play get suspended, it’s your job that you get paid well to do. Shut up and do it
  22. To be fair I think we see similar stand offs quite often, Isak is out of the Newcastle team at the moment for similar but rarely it’s because the club is as tight as we are
  23. this whole travis situation is a complete shitshow, I guarantee you this doesn’t happen at any other football club in the country.
  24. Surely its the premises as a whole. Hell it should be free seeing g as they provide the entertainment that goes on sky
  25. Have we got rid of Sky Sports around the ground, everywhere except Jack's kitchen? Or is it still on the concourses, etc? I usually arrive at the ground about 15 mins before kickoff and go up to my seat, so I haven't really watched the TVs in there for a while, so I hadn't noticed if there had been a change. It is appalling though if they have canned it, I don't watch but thousands of others do. Like many have pointed out already, how tinpot is it for a Championship football club not to have the main sports channels at the ground?
  26. That City side of the early/mid-70's was a joy to watch. When Rovers were away (and for some European night matches) my Dad took me to Maine Road several times. I can only just remember them but I know they were always exciting. Willie Donachie was a key part of that team - should have won more than they did but came up against great Leeds , Liverpool and Arsenal teams around that time.
  27. Because "he tries to play the right way" - at least according to several of the pundits. The rest of us can see he's just a charlatan...and a complete knob!
