No, but nor is encouraging everyone onto the playing surface and breaking the law. The lack of ticket sales are obviously hurting the finances of the club. Every other post on the club’s social media pages are about buying tickets or merchandise. Mods- is there a chance we can have a vote on the matter about the best course of action? It might give the coalition an idea of how to proceed with the next protest.

If we boycotted a home league game where nobody attended (for example 1500 home fans) it would cause huge shock waves internally. If it was backed with a coalition statement saying there would further calls to hold off attending next year (and a hint about season ticket boycotts), you would see some movement I suspect. Following on from this, to show the owners and the wider football community, how these owners has decimated the fanbase, we then ask that as many as possible boycott the Bristol City Game, which is the following home fixture, a few days later. The contrast in attendances between these fixtures will highlight what the fan base think of their ownership and will hopefully give them food for thought, with regards to giving up the ghost and selling the club. You're stonewalling here and refusing to answer a perfectly straightforward "yes or no" question. But Ill humour you. (For example) Participating in a Venky's out protest outside the ground? Participating in a complete boycott for one specific game? Not taking your seat until a specified minute and/or leaving early?

That seems unlikely and sounds like a fairly obvious attempt to fob you off. Do they charge the organisers or quibble whenever there's a March for Gaza for example which they seem only to happy to accomodate on a regular basis? Genuine question as I dont know.

My take on yesterday. Pompey dominated the ball in the first half without doing a thing with it. We contained them and were very happy to do so once we got our goal. Second half we came out and were playing some great stuff. The crowd was just turning on the manager and the team. Whether it was tactical or a bit of panic they all of a sudden started hitting long balls and we didn't deal with any of them. Not a surprise when the back three is a short right back, a short left back, and a fella Hull practically gave away. Any header we won went about 5 yards and they easily picked up the second ball. Most of the time our back three didn't get first contact. All of a sudden Pompey were up in our final third and we caved in an instant. Its the story of our season. We have no defence at all. Miller is really poor. McLoughlen gets bullied by any half physical forward. Ribiero is to small to be playing there. We've got half a team. He's no world beater but we miss Dom Hyam so much. A fit, championship standard centre half. Overall, Pompey were crap, we played some good stuff in spells, they put some pressure on, we folded. And this'll keep happening on repeat.

As you can appreciate. It’s not fair for 1 person to take that responsibility especially with the uncertainty of any costs involved

It wont. For years, people have taken these issues as the owners proactively investing in the club, expecting transfer business. They are merely to cover the losses incurred. Other Championship owners do the same.

Exactly. I find it strange in general how football clubs often seem to be run backwards. It should be the manager that decides on how he wants his team to look like, but that seems to now get decided by people far less qualified to be making such decisions. Thats really paramount here. The manager is bad because a manager with a good reputation wont work under these conditions. Recruitment is overseen by novices who dont know how to build a squad to win matches, further compounded by an objective to slash the wage budget. End result, bad manager + bad squad = at the other side of the table and likely to go down.
