  1. Past hour
  2. Sparky "So what's the ambition of the Club?" Pasha "To be "sustainable". "Mark? Mark?"
  3. Abysmal performance and to think I missed a family lunch to watch that pathetic performance in the cold. That first half was the worse I’ve seen us in a long time, pathetic. There is nothing redeemable about the team, manager or board room. I don’t think I have ever disliked the club as much as I do currently. Stands were silent and those attending seem to have given up and feel helpless to change anything. The only positive thing is the young lads coming into the team who look miles better than the ‘senior’ pros they are replacing.
  4. If he’s coming tell him to bring his boots.
  5. *Brendan McCullum has entered the chat* 😆
  6. Senior what ? There's only one left and he'll be off soon anyway.
  7. That summed up the whole rotten edifice that is Venky's Rovers. Asset stripped, dismantled. And to what end? I dont know what's more depressing, the poor standard of the playing squad or the fact that they are pretty much playing as well as they can. Doubly depressing against a very ordinary Wrexham who were in 2nd gear. Sobering to think how recently we hammered them in the cup. A number 9 who isn't even up to bring put on the bench having his striker's position taken by a second rate Scandinavian midfielder worse thsn Antonsson. A dismal vista. The only glimmer is the emergence of the 3 young defenders who look well coached and comfortable. A credit to the academy operation. It's all that's left. But you wonder what the point is when the odd gem will bring in revenue merely to keep the life support machine running. The situation is hopeless. And another thing. I've tried to buy 2 items from the bars on the ground tgis season. At the Derby game they ran out of beer and today pies by half time. I will not be queueing again for anything at the club. An utterly pathetic institution who as we know take us for less than mugs. I despise them.
  8. 0-2 down at home with a 5 man defence and two sitting midfielders. Just leaves it hoping we somehow get back in the game. They guy is tactically inept and a large reason why we score so little goals.
  9. What’s Mark hughes doing ? id take him in a heartbeat.
  10. Not wanting to pile on the lad, as he’s trying his best and it isn’t his fault he’s being picked- but agreeing with the comments about Miller. That lad is such a poor player.
  11. Mowbray was happy to dumb down expectations, play down our status, and top up his pension pot. Wouldn't have him back.
  12. Put Toth in the nets, drop the lot and play the entire under 21 team with the under 21 manager in the dug out. Can't imagine it will be worse than that - or the performance at Charlton away.
  13. Pasha will probably spin that as saying 'p.a shout'
  14. Assume Litherland & Hedges injured Toth O'Riordan Atcheson Pratt Miller Baradji Tronstad Cantwell Powell Joseph Ohashi Miller not the best choice at wing back, but we completely lack wide options, Ribeiro on the wing would be madness
  15. I mean for me that was him bailing the owners out on the pitch front. "It's ok guys, just use the January transfer budget!"
  16. One win in nine, but results elsewhere going our way.
  17. I hope those shirts they wore today end up in a skip, but I bet the club tries to flog them on that auction site.
  18. Toth Miller Pratt McLoughlin Pickering Tronstad Baradji Cantwell Ohashi Ribero Gueye play back 4 experienced team back to basics next match
  19. When did this lot last put a smile on our faces over the Xmas and New Year period ?
  20. I do wonder why after performances like that, man of the match awards are not cancelled for the day. I would be genuinely embarrassed to receive an award after a performance of that standard
  21. Recruitment team needs to act fast here, next to critical that they get at least one experienced striker in before game against Ipswich on the 17th. Our last nine games of the season could very well seal our fate and condemn us to relegation if we continue sleepwalking further down the table. As I've stated earlier, my belief (and fear) is that we are a reactive side with no 'available funds' and who needs selling players first before we act rather than being proactive and have players ready within the first few days of the transfer window. Our last five or six winter transfer windows are horrendous as well, not spending more than £1 million in any of those. If recruitment team fails in January (again), we will get relegated.
  22. I had a few days away booked, we were setting off after the match today and then coming back for Sunday’s match. I can’t see myself bothering on Sunday now tbh- what’s the point?
