  1. Past hour
  2. our ones great football club is dying right in front of us.
  3. This was never about contracts This is ALL on Rudy gestede, his treatment of staff and players and total arrogance. This started in the last summer when JE invited Weimann to train at Rovers to earn a contract. Gestede hit the roof and wanted him off the training ground. JE convinced Waggott Weimann could do a job, against Gestedes wishes. That was the beginning of the end of JE and Gestedes relationship. The day JE left Weimann was summoned by Gestede and informed his days at Rovers were over. Weimann opted to then have a little op to ensure he could get new club in summer. This was pure spite by Gestede as he didn't forgive JE for bringing Weimann in. Gestede then pushed a number of employees out the door for none performance related issues . One employee due to not covering her arms at the training ground. Ive spoken to a number of employees who have departed and some there, but to protect their identities and in some cases NDAs I wont name them The senior players and sadly Leonard challenged Gestede for dressing down employees and being nasty and in some cases making them cry. Leonard for his part was banished to train with the kids. The rest for none footballing reasons and certainly not for contractual reasons (you actually need to be offered a contract to sign one) have all been dismissed this window (all members of the players council). How anyone can defend the ciub is beyond me. The best thing about x now is no one can see who likes your tweets. My own tweets its rather damning given the amount of players,,relatives and staff are liking what im posting. (As people know I wil never post a thing i can't prove). No Gestede , JE would not have exited thats a fact. These lads not being offered contracts which was RG job, is not an error. It was deliberate to drive them out the club. I believe (my opinion) the damage hes created in one summer is more than any single person has at any time in the last 15 years. This aint a plan of success, this is malicious and been made personal due to people refusing to accept bullying at our training ground Many current staff are walking on egg shells in fear . One significant departed member of staff i spoke to for 2 hours on the phone a couple of weeks ago and it was extremely alarming whats gone down at the training ground. Strangely Suhail is barely mentioned in any if these conversations. Its always Gestede. This aint gonna end well unless that man is removed
  4. Not one player wants to be stay here, every single one of them has jumped at the first opportunity, including ones that have an affiliation with us, this is surely mega alarm bells, we have been infiltrated by snakes , they have taken over. Genuinely canโ€™t see a light at the end of a long dark tunnel , this isnโ€™t fun
  5. Absolute con isn't it? What any real club would do is analyse when we just missed out and plug the gaps. Not demolish the lot and start again! Just a cover for further dumbing down.
  6. On fresh terms It wouldโ€™ve been Late 2023 and it was Adam Wharton.
  7. Adam Wharton about a month before we sold him.
  8. When the fu*k was the last time we actually renewed a first team player's contract?!
  9. Yes but that pales into insignificance when its not one, two or even three contracts but ALL of them. Not ONE of the first players that we wanted to keep, or the manager wanted to keep, whose deals were coming to an end (this or next summer) did we actually manage to extend the contract of. The only one we have kept is Tronstad who will leave on a free, dont delude yourself into your usual "well he might sign a new deal" crap. Thats Travis, Brittain, Hyam, Dolan, Batth, Weimann, all gone. As I said earlier in the summer and you shot me down for "banging on about it." The contract situation has predictably blown apart the whole transfer window. If its the odd player who wont re-sign, then sell and replace, agreed. But theres a considerable underlying pattern that will sooner rather than later lead to relegation. You are clearly lying when you say we are only short at centre back. You wanted and expected 2 before we had any idea that Hyam was going. Presumably one was an attacker, you also wanted a senior goalkeeper. You clearly wanted and felt that we needed more. Where do you see us finishing now with this squad and this manager? Just a prediction and no cliches or sitting on the fence.
  10. It'd be more self sabotage if he doesn't. Not only is he better (or at least more proven and experienced) than Michalski, but if he isn't even sitting on our bench we drive down the price we can get for him in Jan or the summer.
  11. Just canโ€™t see Josh calling her out if he wasnโ€™t sure.
  12. Not being argumentative at all, yes the Hyam timing could see us short, but the point still stands on all 3.
  13. Whether it was pornhub or Rovers transfer news, Mike was watching a shafting.
  14. Aye, the Hyam one could bite them on the arse, got a feeling Pears wlil come back into the fold
  15. I certainly donโ€™t think the difference between Hyam and whoever fills his slot will be the difference between relegation or not - the difference-making will be at the other end of the pitch. He looked like he never wanted to be here from the off. Given he wanted to go, keeping an even more demotivated Hyam wouldnโ€™t have ended well. Iโ€™m far more upset we are relying on one young Icelandic striker.
  16. Wish I could, I was stupid enough to click onto something else. Iโ€™d be very disappointed if thatโ€™s actually Lyndsey.
  17. The idea that clearing out the decks was necessary after comfortably finishing 7th or 8th in 3 of the last 4 seasons is very odd to me. I don't understand the idea that we needed an "overhaul" when we finished 7th last season, barely missing out on the playoffs. You keep your core players and build around them. You identify areas in the first 11 that can be improved and sign players who should be able to push the team on. It's what we haven't done well enough over the past five or six years. We've mostly just signed players who have kept us at the same level, or more recently had managers able to squeeze as much as possible out of an increasingly limited squad. You don't sell all of your Championship experience and replace it with mostly cheap gambles from lesser leagues. That's a plan which has a miniscule chance of actually being successful. Selling a first team centre back with no replacement, even worse. I understand people want to have hope, but I can't see this transfer window as anything other than a catastrophe.
  18. โ€˜Recent Rovers 11โ€™: Kaminski Brittain. Hyam. Batth Beck Travis. Wharton A Dolan. Szmodics. Brereton Diaz Gallagher How many of those donโ€™t get into our current starting line up?
  19. Today
  20. We have excelled at receiving good fees for our players this summer! Wrexham are overpaying for a mediocre defender and if we had replaced him then it would have been no big deal. Instead we are now just really low on defensive numbers. Itโ€™s week 3 of the season and Wharton is the only available true centre back at Watford and he missed all of last season with injury. If any decision highlights where the owners/boards priorities lie then itโ€™s this. Cash in and jeopardise the clubs chances on the pitch or protect the squad at all costs. Maybe we have a good freebie lined up, but I think we all know that wonโ€™t happen. The only positive I can see is that there is literally nobody else to sell and maybe that means the owners will sell up after a colossal summer asset strip. Probably wishful thinking.
  21. I just can't see us surviving this season. This has to be one of the worst transfer windows ever. How can they be so irresponsible and gamble the clubs existence like that. These fuckers are in it for themselves and their pay checks / bonuses and back handed agent deals. We will go down and we won't come back up again under this ownership. It will take a miracle to avoid relegation as things stand.
  22. But not all at once, and not allowing this ridiculous amount of them to run down all at once either so there is insane turnover. And certainly not without replacing them all.
  23. Heโ€™s happy heโ€™s picking a wage up for 3 years
  24. Go support Liverpool yourself whilst youโ€™re at it!
  25. Transfer windows used to be exciting. Say goodbye to those days, there wonโ€™t be anymore under Venkys.
