  1. Past hour
  2. How much is being the reduction given people have ST and most walk.ons will have already purchase their tickets for Saturday game?
  3. On the NAPM stance, that's a personal choice and each person will decide what they want to do. I will my own decisions on that. I respect people making their own decisions on attending games or not. Its not easy choice but it's a personal one I dont think much will change personally with owners over this stance/letter from the coalition. Venkys have shown they are very stubborn people and dont like being told what to do. I dont see that. I can see them appointing a CEO very soon with Pasha staying in India. That wouldn't surprise me
  4. You don’t even ‘repeatedly slam’ this clown we have in now.
  5. don`t know why the coalition are asking us all to boycott,it`s already began has`nt it??? you will never get a complete boycott, there are many people who go for the social outing and the saturday (or whatever day) ritual, imo you need to get at pasha and gestede with a bit of matchday disobediance.i.e everyone gather in the concourses and don`t go into the stand
  6. They were really rattled by not hitting ST revenue targets down Ewood so the idea that they're not bothered about the lack of income is false because they clearly are.
  7. So you don't believe that a considerable reduction in gate revenue would make any difference? Imo, not hitting their targets in terms of ST revenue and matchday revenue is the only thing that gets them twitchy.
  8. I'm not negative, I'm looking forward to Saturday, are you ?
  9. My brother has worked in India for decades, he said years ago there's no way will they be forced into anything, in fact quite the opposite, protesting is more likely to make them dig their heels in. Protesting won't make them sell,it certainly hasn't had any effect up to now despite the thousands staying away. I'm not going to criticise those who stay away, but I'll certainly be taking my place at home games. The Venkys will sell up when they're ready and not before.
  10. I can’t believe I purchased a ST with my hard earned money and I ain’t the only one who’s done that. I just don’t know what to do, go to games so that my money doesn’t go to “waste” or boycott like everyone else (including non ST holders). Tough spot but if it’s for the future of this club, I’ll happily not go. 100% not renewing my ST next season. Until these clowns get out of our club, I will not renew my ST.
  11. A point very well made, Wilsden. I want to attend but I will boycott in an effort to save our club and end 15 years of desecration of Blackburn Rovers.
  12. He is indeed excellent. I’ve seen him a few times, the last at Lytham Festival a couple of years ago. I know Joe Cocker’s brother Vic, who somewhat bizarrely was Chief Executive at Severn Trent Water for a number of years. I could never get him to talk about Joe though. All he would say is that “he’s his own man”.
  13. I don't suppose he was nice enough to give you a response?
  14. Fair enough Chaddy, we all know your personal choice ! My only comment is that your personal choice does absolutely nothing to support the efforts of the many, to save our club.
  15. Boycotting and not wanting to attend are not the same thing.
  16. Today
  17. This is a personal choice Penwortham Blue and I have made my choice and I won't be changing. I will be supporting the players and the team home and away including the Watford home game. support the Watford Boycott? if you don't want to attend the game and boycott it that is your choice.
  18. “ Then I reached for my revolver “ 😂
  19. Bit negative aren't you? How would you resolve the mess Rovers are in?
  20. I get that some people dont want to miss a game. Its a shame I think that we couldnt just have 1 game where literally no one goes but its never gonna happen. But equally, I am not sure how constructive it is to just say that you wont be told what to do, or stuff about backing the team etc. So @M_B and @chaddyrovers the question to you both is not whether you are boycotting or not, we know you arent as its been repeated. I think it would make a pretty boring thread if we just all said what we are doing individually. What are your feelings on the protest movement? Are you both desperate for Venkys to go? Do you think its a good idea to try and start a not a penny more movement both to starve the owners of money and to raise publicity, or if not, why not? Do you see it making a difference? Id like to know your opinions beyond just telling us what you are doing personally, often in a way that comes across as purposefully provocative.
  21. For the greater good Chaddy, wake up and smell the coffee, they are driving us into oblivion ! I can understand you attending, I’m been a ST holder for over 40 years and it will hurt me to miss but at the very least, can’t you just support the Watford boycott.
  22. Did his carer make a comment. Lots of people have seen their team win the title, it was contested before the premier league was formed
  23. I would hazard a guess that this is not a regular contributor.
  24. Another prick, let’s keep it positive and progressive and leave out the musings of the minority pond life !
