  1. Past hour
  2. They're making it so. This is what happens when non footballing people who don't care about the football club make decisions. Pasha is their henchman who's quite clearly making heartless & ruthless decisions for them.
  3. The Club is clearly having to wash its own face and I think we are struggling....everyone at the Club is for sale if the price is right.
  4. All last season he was very good, one of our best players. In his first season, he was our player of the season. He isnt easily replacable, certainly not for cheap, hes a top half standard Championship centre back. We are going into the season with 3 centre backs and 2 have serious injury issues. We signed Miller as a right back clearly and are now scrambling around to loan an unwanted Birmingham utility man, there is no way it can work to come close to sufficiently replacing him. Value in a deal has to include the timing you admit is terrible. Β£2m a month ago with a replacement signed is much better value to us than Β£2.7m hours before the deadline. Well, to the team. Not the bell ends who have probably confirmed our relegation with this last day.
  5. Pretty irrelevant but I heard through the grapevine that he's got into the habit of booking Β£5000 tables at nightclubs to impress girls.
  6. I bet they couldn't believe their luck when someone offered nearly double what we paid for him - and he's nearly 30. There's clearly absolutely no money at the club - the transfer business this summer (and how they treated Eustace) tells you that.
  7. If they refuse to keep paying the matched bond we are.
  8. Probably get a better contract once we're relegated, just like Kean did.
  9. We are in serious financial trouble...the only reason for this sale at this late time. Horrible what is unfolding in our 150th Season.
  10. Suhail wants the money, Val wants players of the right profile (young, inexperienced, and/or from lesser leagues) who do not question his arrogance, and Rudy is just plain stupid. A deadly trio.
  11. Wrexham have been sniffing around for a CB in that price range. We're the fools that accepted - everyone else told them to f' off.
  12. …that mediocrity can pay to greatness.
  13. What boils my piss is... At this stage that money will get swallowed up, never to be seen again.
  14. Even Waggott could see the writing on the wall - announcing to the public in 2023, before a ball had been kicked, that his target was survival (despite finishing 7th and an FA Cup quarter final the season before). Two years on and they've worked damn hard to get us here. That squad was far too good to deliver relegation and the annoying interventions of JDT and Eustace derailed the operation. Fortunately both were forced out of here so that staff more receptive to the plan could be brought in. What we are now seeing is the culmination of a 2-3 year plan, orchestrated by the owners and delivered by their underling(s). Time and time again we are swimming against the tide with these owners dragging the club backwards every way it can. Still some can't see it. They deserve Venkys and what is coming next.
  15. And for years they've said deadline day is where all the cheap deals happen. Valerian said the opposite this window
  16. Pasha cocked that one up so needed to make up the short fall
  17. Connected to Leonard still being in the building? (the rapid fire sale of Hyam i mean)
  18. That will be the spin 100% β€˜ we have money in Jan’
  19. As a leader no thanks he’s a very solid cb at this level if you think otherwise then I can’t help you
  20. Surely there's just enough time to get a fucking deal agreed for someone decent FFS... There's no way you can dress up selling your main CB at the last minute purely for money as anything other than a cost cutting measure. Yeah, sell players who have a year left but not an hour before the fucking deadline. Set of twats.
