  1. Past hour
  2. Good potential at Plymouth to build the crowds if they got them going upwards year on year. That's why these investors go for the likes of them plus there is a new story to create with little expectation of past glories because there are non, it's all new and shiny and not poisoned by anything. Besides that they could also play the hedge fund Russian roulette model they do at Burnley were you fill a small ground, keep going up and down and running of big debt then trading players and paying dividends out of the parachute/tv income.
  3. And the rose stem running through the shirt
  4. It is reported he wants a 2 year contract and Rovers only want to offer 1 year deal which I feel is the right decision here and I wouldn't be against an option for a second year depending on fitness, injuries and playing times. I would be offer him Travis, Tronstad and Brittain fair offers but ones that reflect their important to the squad and the roles into the team by making them higher earners at the club but not offering 30k a weeks wages its was yourself you said Derby had offered a 2 year contract which if they had, he would have sign that by now, he hasn't. Rovers from reports have offered a straight 1 year contract to him which he hasn't accepted cos he was a second year contract which I would do as an option by on the factors I posted above. Who says we are waiting for the budget to be set and if that was the case how did we make a signing last week?
  5. Either way it's pointless going now 🤣
  6. Hope they’ve ordered enough. They will have, won’t they…
  7. There’s a lot of potential in Plymouth. It’s a city of close to 280k with a much bigger catchment area.
  8. Ok no problems Angry man? what? no one has got angry over your posts or response and there is far more important things and subjects to get angry about then over your posts or responses on here
  9. I always believed the venky's are holding simply because without rovers they have to settle the collateral so they kicking the can... but now i believe Suhail is the lynchpin with V's name on the signboard with Kentaro still in driving seat.... only a full financial forensic investigation can uncover this and i pray a reason for it happens .... Al capone was caught because of tax evasion ....
  10. If staying here is his first choice why hasn’t he signed yet? (can you see what I did there?? 😁😁)
  11. The badge on the left sleeve says otherwise.
  12. Probably because he is waiting for Rovers to get back to him because staying here is first choice how many times are you going to repeat that same line to try and prove a point ? It proves nothing. How can Rovers set the budget until they know whats happening in India ?
  13. But what if she’s thinking exactly the same about you?? Don’t die wondering, take the leap… 😁😁
  14. I can't get onboard with not for sale, no response, etc. Ok two years ago but there the environment has changed dramatically, even the three stooges said they would entertain credible offers....I do not believe that there isn't a firm out there that would buy Rovers / happy to put forward a credible offer.
  15. Because the club isn't up for sale.
  16. It's fun that you dislike me so much that you'd argue black is blue. 🤣 How about some trophies, Jim? How about their attendances don't match ours at our absolute lowest ebb?
  17. Basically. I could publicly state I'd quite like to shag Katherine Langford, but I'd look silly if she didn't even acknowledge it.
  18. On your second point, I wouldn't know as I'm not his agent. The more pertinent question I would ask is why hasn't he signed the offer here yet? Which leads nicely to your first point, which I think is naive. We obviously haven't offered what Travis wants, hence him not signing anything and looking elsewhere. Throw into the mix the intrinsic motivating factor that both Travis and Batth have openly praised JE and you could, fairly safely, conclude Derby appeals to them more than Rovers currently.
  19. Because every enquiry is met with silence and / or an extortionate price.
  20. Today
  21. Because the owners have been turning down interest the second it's registered, ever since they took over the club. Since everybody knows they're not looking to sell, nobody offers to buy. Hopefully that changes at some point, especially with the financial issues.
  22. The owners & senior management at Rovers (Waggott included) have done a very good job of pushing the narrative that there are no alternatives out there for a change in ownership at Rovers, that we should be grateful even, of their continued ownership. They've got a good amount of the fanbase believing that we are maxed out in every respect, we push the boundaries as far as we can within the limits of the regulations. I've even had comments from Dingles on X along the lines of "WiThOuT VeNkY's YoU's CoLlApSe" and that "No one would ever buy us" The reality, as demonstrated across all the leagues in English football is that there are willing parties out there, ready to take over football clubs and do so with real, genuine ambition with ideas and plans in place to drive that ambition. The only reason it won't happen here is because of whatever bizarre reason Venky's have for refusing to let us go. We're going to be left behind sooner rather than later, and the longer they keep us in their death grip, the further we will fall.
  23. I think it a lovely top, without a morally dubious sponsor and with a 150th shirt later in the year. No complaints from me.
  24. Hang on a minute, Jim, thought you were usually bemoaning ‘nothing southern clubs that have spent most of their time in the third and fourth divisions’ ?
