  1. Past hour
  2. What's happened to Tyjon after all the hype about him before the season started?
  3. Rev, I wasn't really interested in the relative abilities of Trav v Tron. My point was that the poor pass Tron played last night is indicative of his mood (not his ability) and a perfect metaphor for the shambles that is VI's management and the nonsense occurring above him. For even more clarity:- We both agree on the centrality of Trav. We will never agree on the ability of Tron. And on your point about Tron looking average now Trav has left is a weak argument. As you know well I'm sure, playing is about partnerships. They complemented each other well. Imagine if Trav had remained here (with all the cack going on around him) and Tron gone -I suspect Trav's body language would have been poor given all the nonsense going on and playing alongside what we have now.
  4. Two ideas I've seen mentioned that I like are everyone dressing in black to symbolise the death of Blackburn Rovers and the red cards. The black clothing would be very effective as a one off if enough people did it and the media could be tipped off to attend in advance. I've stopped going until there's any sign of improvement but Id happily don my funeral suit and go down for that. The red cards, well once they've been handed out, no-one can stop you bringing them into a ground and they can be used again and again, no limit to that. Also the 135/15 idea is a very powerful message, needs to be plenty done themed around that I feel.
  5. The manager has kind of thrown Gueye under the bus. Have him as a sub and not sub him as he is not an impact player. A bit like tarmaccing the road and not using a steamroller because a hand tool has more impact. Where are all the academy kids? At least they would run around a bit. I am sure this is heresy but I would have loved him as our manager. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1GzX1Fc64B/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  6. Absolutely. No-one expects us to be romping the League by ten points but eight losses out of eleven in all Comps this season? Come on.
  7. Ok, thanks for explaining. Not sure how compiling a Survey and telling the Club they're not very happy with them once the results eventually come back is going to help much but marginally better than nothing I guess.
  8. Agree with the first part not the second. He could do a far better job with the (poor) materials at his disposal.
  9. The only time they’ll pot him is firstly, when it’s far too late, and secondly if the heat gets too much for them. And that second one will again take far too long with our placid fanbase.
  10. It'll never happen, just pure apathy. Also, it really is at this point entirely the fact that Ismael and the players are a symptom not a disease. The transfer policy is literally decided by making sure a balance sheet appeases an owner a thousand miles away. The manager was signed as he was the cheapest option and a yes man. That's it in a nutshell. Changing Ismael won't do a thing - we might get someone tactically more astute but we've got 2 CBs and a player signed as a right back suddenly needing to play every game in a back 3. I can't blame a hastily assembled squad of players who don't have any quality or experience, it's a League One side with 1 or 2 bright sparks. The slow decline means we deserve League 1, even 2 - it's the level they've created.
  11. Results without Travis suggest otherwise.
  12. I mean, the suggestion that the FF go down to Brockhall is absolutely nonsense anyway but Id hope the team spirit WASN'T that good at the moment after seven defeats out of ten and sitting second bottom. They should be absolutely gutted at that and determined to put things right. Instead the TV panned on Henrikssen last night after the final whistle and he looked as if he was about to burst into tears. Then the manager displays all the emotion and self awareness of a T1000, always just bad luck or someone else's fault, just one of those things. Where's the fight going to come from to get out of this?
  13. That was November 2021, but we have beaten them even later than that. We beat them 1-0 under JDT in March 2023 that left us 3rd in the table with a real outside chance of getting into the top 2, or at worst consolidate a top 6 finish. But as predicted by many at the time, the lack of a January window came back to bite us as we ended up winning 1 of our last 11 to finish 7th.
  14. They've no plans full stop, they certainly ain't going to rock the boat and incur a £1 million+ expense sacking off Ismael and Whitehead. They want life as cheap and easy as possible. A managerial sacking / recruitment process is the last thing they want.
  15. Not my point rev and your intransigence on tronstad rivals EI's on refs 😉
  16. WATR have always been an independent entity as have all the other groups in the Coalition ( Proud Rovers, Action Group etc ). WATR are still working in conjunction with the Coalition but this survey has been sent to Trust members and ex-members who still have a registered email address. There is no 'splitting off'. WATR and the Coalition can work jointly and separately.
  17. I can, they took an early lead, and we ended up beating them, i think it was Diaz days when we had a team. We need to make some protest banners, before the Southampton game. And loud chants of Venkys out Ismael out! hes the worst Rovers manager for some time.
  18. Did we come to a conclusion on a how long we had to give it to decide if it was a successful transfer summer? b if it was exciting? c if is going to be successful?
  19. People rinsing a ton of money out of football both in the media and behind the scenes at clubs need to come up with such 'modern' terms to justify their employment. BBC are the latest - articles riddled with factual mistakes - example being that Dyche led Burnley to qualify for Europe for the first time since the 60s - but loads of pointless stats about Xg and other drivel about his 'style'.
  20. We need to make some protest banners, before the Southampton game. And loud chants of Venkys out Ismael out! hes the worst Rovers manager for some time.
  21. I just had a text from a Rovers staff member saying the Club have ‘no plans to remove VI’.
  22. He's just not that good. As I always said, we'll see how good he is when Travis has gone. We also nearly got relegated when Travis was on loan at Ipswich.
  23. We need to make some protest banners, before the Southampton game. And loud chants of Venkys out Ismael out! hes the worst Rovers manager for some time.
  24. They went down the Head Coach / DOF route with Broughton and JDT and for the first 18 months it worked to perfection - we got results, played an exciting brand of football, brought through academy lads by the bucketload and made good investments in new signings. They smashed that to smithereens after 1 year. Their choice, presumably the Broughton/JDT approach was costing too much and working too well / not greasing the right palms so a different approach had to be brought in.
  25. By "Trust" do we mean "Coalition" or have the Trust broken back off and decided to go their own separate way again?
  26. I can, they went a goal up, and we ended up beating them. I think it was Diaz days.
