Can’t help but feel like if this happened at their place it would have had a different outcome. 5 games in and our luck has already been atrocious. Nothing we can do now but swallow the bitter pill and get on with it. Hope it lights a fire in the player’s bellies. On to the Valley we go. -

Completely disgusting but not surprising! The EFL should be ashamed of themselves -

This was always going to be the outcome so I'm not going to get mad at it. We just have to hope we can actually turn up for a midweek fixture for once. If anything I'm more annoyed at our complete inability to provide an adequate pitch - obviously there are limits with drainage etc but lets not pretend like the pitch hasn't been an issue in general for years now. -

We need a good win to put this last result with the efl behind us. Another 0 3 will do. -

So open both end uppers, and charge £50. Charge whatever for the Blackburn end lower tier and don’t open the Darwen end lower. No one would buy tickets for the BE upper, job done 😀 -

Suspect we'll find out more from Ismael after his pre match presser, but the silence from the club possibly suggests that he's out for another sustained period of time. -

Some other team can benefit from the suspension though, whilst we repeat the whole charade and get zero reward for our endeavours, so that's lovely right? -

Not surprised at all with the outcome, but its an absolute disgrace that it took this long to get to the conclusion that was probably always going to be the way it went. The red card still standing makes for a future pub quiz question somewhere. -

Yes. As I said in my last post, they are as complicit as we are if they don't go any further than just ordering a replay. -

Not even the rules, just an irrational set of precedents. The rules allowed them to replay part of the game, something they're apparently not willing to do at all. -
You haven't lived until you've listened to Stuart Pearce talk about playing between the lines. It's like listening to Wayne Rooney narrate Great Expectations.

If our ground is inadequate (and I’m not saying it isn’t) shouldn’t the EFL be insisting we remedy this? -

He should at the least be banned specifically from our game. But that's not how it will work. -

the efl have now set their own precedent and will have to follow it up ,there are certain to be some abandoments in the future, will they act in the same manner as they have done here????thats the big question, tbh,i thought the old rule of over a certain time the result stood,it seems they`ve changed the rules without telling anybody lets see if they apply their "Logic" to future abandonments -

I think the pitch was higher, possibly by a couple of foot - around the time the ground was redeveloped. There was a significant drop off once over the touchlines which could be a bit dodgy for the players and made taking corners difficult. So if the pitch is now lower, it would explain why we are seeing more problems than we used to. Water table is now higher. It could be put right with some engineering and owners prepared to pay for it. But we all know the problem there. -

My bad if this has already been mentioned but to basically scrape everything off from that game but the red card still stands meaning he’ll be suspended for their match this Saturday? That is ridiculous. Efl are just a bunch of fuckwits following their shitty ass rules. Honestly!
