But we didn't concede - That's a positive. They put 2 past Hull their previous game. I'm not sure what world people live in when we should be going to any away game and winning on a 'canter'. We are literally a few places above Wednesday, we are their level bar one or 2 players (which we will lose next season) Back line did well yesterday. We didn't create enough and that's the reason we didn't come away with 3 points - Toothless. -

Sick of epl clubs cherry picking youngsters. -
We have gone over this numerous times with many of us providing written evidence that the Club's first colours were indeed our famous blue n White quatered Shirt. There is no mention of this all White abomination in any Historical Club History Book and that includes the Club's new 150th publication. PNE Rovers on New Years Day...how f'kin embarrassing. It just gets worse and worse.

Completely agree, was just a hypothetical I am surprised that the club didn't try it regardless. It is rare that the quality of the playing squad is a primary consideration -

Maybe, you can't do that in the hope he will sign a new deal though when its clear he is nowhere near ready. -
If you’re not good enough, wait a while and the club will have dropped to your level.

alot of frustration around where i sat in the crowd last night (rightly so I know). But I heard one guy say we should win like 5-0.... come on, we are 17th... We dont score many from set pieces, and bar cantwell and maybe yuki nobody else realistically is a goalscorer, and even cantwell and yuki are barely goalscorers on their rovers records. I told my misses on the way up last night "are you ready for a 0-0 draw" (driving 3.5 hours up knowing what we were probably in for). I was gitted like everyone but hardly surpsied at the result. Ive no idea when our next goal may come tbf, without Gudjohnsen, we havent exactly got the group of players thats going to score 3 goals in a game, and scoring 1 doesnt even look that likely. Yuki is the type of player if you gave him 10 one on ones, you wouldn't be surprised if he only scored 1. Also Cantwell was getting a bit of abuse around me to, and I watch and think hes the only person that can do anything with the football, he cant do it all, were asking him to be dropping deep and then be in the 10 position. Others around him have to step up but there aren't exactly goals going to be flooding from whats available. Going to be a painful watch until we\if get some forwards in. You can maybe try and give the players ideas on a training pitch but sometimes when you've got certain players that aren't exactly attacking players its going to be difficult. Players that aren't scorers: Miller, Mcloughlin, Pratt, Litherland, Hedges, tronstad, Baraji, then your relying on 3 players to create something; henriksen (who is playing out of position, not played championship football), Yuki(not prolific), cantwell(has not been prolific for us since joining bar penalties). Sheff weds drew to hull at the weekend, we have no divine right to go and win 5-0. We had 3 or 4 alright chances last night and didnt take them, and if your only creating that many real chances with a group that aren't prolific i wouldnt be surprised we've drawn 0-0. Hopefully we can work on some more set pieces because when you aren't great at scoring in open play they are the get out of jail cards. Sadly id take a draw against wrexham, cant see us scoring more than 1 saturday, and i can see them scoring at least 1. -

Of course, but it would have saved Venkys using some of their own money on the electric bill 😉 Which is what seems to matter the most these days -

Bannon's chance when he lifted the ball over Pears is one I would expect him to score 8 times out of 10. We got very lucky there. -

I think the squad needs a considerable overhaul. The league table and the number of dead weights in our squad and the lack of options in certain areas backs me up. I dont think its got a chance of happening in January. I dont know how you have ascertained that I think its realistic. My expectations of Gestede armed with pennies by our terrible owners are on the floor. Is "Nicko" on the case with more stories about all these wonderful players we are looking to sign? Almost as if he has stories to sell and a club to suck up to. No matter what part of the world it is, not being fit to play any games makes any player be of no use to them. You dont even know if Carter would want to move to this ficticious Middle Eastern side. -

Potentially but then there’s the likelihood of any additional money being used wisely (if at all). -

Bannon should definitely have scored when through on goal and the lad at the end only had to toe-poke it in. -

Wouldn't say they were gilt edged Jim by any means, but they were chances. To give 2 chances up in 90 minutes away from home isn't really the problem. I watched the "highlights" this morning and two thirds of it was Rovers missed chances/opportunities,there's the problem. -

Major blow to finances maybe? If not the first team squad. If he had signed a contract, they would get more when he was sold -

No you said get your targets as they come my argument is the primary target the main position required come Jan 1st is a striker I don’t want to see a defender come in first or a wing back I want a striker in the door first and work round that after -

His mind may have been changed if he was getting 10-20 minutes off the bench most games (whether he was ready for first team football or not), but he wasn't, so we will never know -
