  1. Past hour
  2. For the more knowledgeable out there, are we at risk of not hitting our home-grown quotas? A lot of foreign players at the moment coming in, what is the championship rules?
  3. Got to sign another CF and CM first - easier said than done with this lot.
  4. If I remember rightly, it was the fans fault for hounding him out, at least that is what his Dad said. https://thespoiler.co.uk/blackburn-defend-position-curious-case-myles-anderson/
  5. Dennis, Woodrow, Forshaw, I was thinking. Shocking business for a team looking to bolster promotion aspirations. Hardly, the cavalry arriving!
  6. I think you're giving them too much credit. They want players that are cheap and managers that are willing to work under the skinflint structure. We aren't set up to push on from a position of strength, only to tread water. Close to the play offs last season? Let's sell the players that got us there. Close to the play offs before that? The aim for the next season? Avoid relegation. I really hope these players turn out to be class and better than those they've replaced, but even if they are, we'll just sell them and then start again. If we aren't giving it our all to get promoted all the time, what's the point?
  7. What if the rabbit needs an ESC place? πŸ€”
  8. My thinking is if the error by the ref is only picked up at slow motion how can it have been a clear and obvious one?
  9. He seems to be involved in some sort of counselling programmes for players who have fallen on hard times. A sort of situation, where players for example have been involved with premier league teams, but then been let go and tumbled down the rankings and found themselves totally out of football, or at teams a lot further down the pyramid. I remember his Dad saying he was good enough for most premier league teams, other than the top four, so maybe that has stood him in good stead, for his current role.
  10. Hmmm maybe. Going off this link - https://www.transferroom.com/gbe#calculator he would go to the exceptions panel. That website only has Morishita passing by 3 points too rather than 9, the difference being the International appearances.
  11. Thanks.. So Myles Anderson's Unleash the Player Ltd is indeed an agency..
  12. If you listened to Kidder Noise podcast, you would have heard that we don't reinvest fee's received by Rovers hence why that questioned was asked to Rovers management during the last fan forum. They have a budget and that's it. I think we are seeing a change. I could be wrong
  13. Just having a think about this. Pululu plays in Poland (finishing 2 places above Legia last season) & was involved in the Conference League up until the quarter finals last season, same as Morishita. Does that mean that Pululu would qualify for a standard GBE too? Pululu must have a similar points total (minus the National team ones)
  14. Plus the wages of all the loan players we had.
  15. I think at the end of the day the Β£ out going will balance the Β£ in coming. Wasn’t that always the plan ? We will have actually spent plus 0.
  16. All offset by the outgoings of Trav, Brittain, JRC and then the likely departures of Pears and Buckley.
  17. It always makes it look worse. It’s a bit like when you’re waiting to come on as a sub. The game looks to be going at a million miles an hour from the touchline, Once you get on you soon get used to it.
  18. You can dispute all the fees you want Mercer. Morishita fee was reported as Β£2m from the Polish journalist. Tavares fee is up to Β£2m based on Alan Nixon The 5m budget for transfer come from Kidder Noise podcast where it is discussed as part of fans forum minutes. Questions were asked also about increase that budget from players sales with some of it being available to spent, I think that what we are seeing and they are backing Gestede and Ismael more this summer than last season.
  19. I can send you some complimentary newspapers to use as shin pads. It’ll have to be β€œ The Guardian β€œ though.
  20. I used to buy β€œGant β€œ clothes when they were made in the USA back in the day. They were expensive but good quality. Now they are normally made in the far East. Still expensive but the quality isn’t what it was. I’ll bet that your shirts are better quality. The 1960’s one I bought certainly was. I’m not really up for buying one of the 1950’s shirts but if you get stuck with any I’ll buy one to support what I think a really good cause.
  21. I think that was DeNeve and I think they may be right.
  22. IMO, the Raos, Pasha, Waggott and Gestede have all been economical with the facts. Preumably, you feel very uncomfortable about that? Perhaps Ismael could also become a voluntary lay preacher!? I would dispute we have spent anywhere near Β£7.5m. I think fees for players signed have been over-hyped for the consumption of those in our fan base who are highly gullible. I would put fees paid in the Β£4 to 5million range with a further Β£2 to 3million due when we win the PL!!! The fact is fees for departing players Brittain, Travis, JRC, Buckley and Dolan (compo) will almost certainly exceed the fees paid for our incomings. I think the reality is we have spent nothing, in fact we are in the black on fees and you can add to that some add-ons from past sales. I suspect if our budget is Β£5million, there may well be some hefty bonuses to be paid due to a substantial saving on that budget! Of course the only way round this is to scrap all this 'undisclosed fee' crap, report both the actual fee, potential add-ons and the fee paid to agents for every transaction. That would give you the openness, transparency and honesty that seems to excite you.
  23. Nixon has said we have been talking to Lorient for a few days for that striker
  24. Much as I liked Nyambe as a defender anybody who thinks he should be playing as a wing back needs to give their head a wobble.
