  1. Past hour
  2. Leaving aside everything we know of the last 15 years, the absence of any interest/desire of the owners, the revolving door of nonentities in the C-suite, the parade of managers, the most notable feature of the window for me is the number of established players who wanted to go elsewhere. The Lemon Drizzle club atmosphere is now clearly a thing of the past (it’s demise being initiated by a demanding JDT) I am perhaps in a small minority in not seeing the loss of Dom Fucking Hyam as a catastrophe (or at least as a bigger one than anything that preceded it). The Preston og, the shrinking violet needing his dad alongside him, the Turf Moor 0-3 pussy, the β€œcalm down”. I’ll not miss him no matter who has to fill in for him.
  3. In my eyes we've gone from "battling relegation and likely to go down" to "we'll be lucky to match Rotherham's worst total" with this squad. We were in a position where we may be able to nick some points here and there on the back of the defence. We're now going to get some serious pastings I expect.
  4. Don't blame you, however you profess to be mad keen on England and they've won fuck all since 1966!
  5. In one transfer window we've sold or let go: Our player of the year Our club captain Our vice captain Our top scorer Our 2nd top scorer Our main CB EXCITING SUMMER 🀯
  6. A disastrous window. We really are in trouble. Will Ismael put up with this? Will Pasha make Gestede the scapegoat when we are rooted in the bottom three? 'Exciting' times ahead.
  7. I understand its crazy to accept a bid on one of our few experienced players..but the money Wrexham and Birmingham are throwing around is crazy stuff. How much have they spent this window...Β£35m? Bet hes doubled his wages if not more. Never thought I'd say Wrexham are spending way beyond what we could ever have done in the championship.
  8. If you don’t laugh you’d cry.
  9. No one can defend that decision surely. Absolute utter madness to sell an ever present in such a vital position with no replacement. Talk about self destruction. It's actually depressing being a Rovers fan
  10. Tbh Iv seen a shift from many of the half glass full fans this hyam transfer may have tipped the balance it’s beyond insanity
  11. Until today, I viewed it as a 'jury is out' window. Too many unknowns from entirely different leagues. A very risky dismantling of experience within the squad, and a lot of turnover which would inevitably harm cohesion, but if the players were good enough and we didn't suffer too many losses until January, it could have been a reasonable transition to maybe theoretically kick on for next season (lets face it, who realistically expected us to challenge for playoffs again anyway?). But today has made it a shocker of a window. We were arguably already short at CB given the injury proneness of Carter and Wharton, and now we are a gnat's pube away from disaster at CB. Insane own goal for the sake of probably about 2 million (I bet the 0.7 is add ons, maybe even more of it than that). Could cost our league status.
  12. Hailed as a sucessful window on the LT site! "Fans" appear to have bought in to the narrative that it was time for a clear-out and a fresh start!
  13. And we're done. The absolute blatant downgrading of the squad is complete. How they had the brass neck to do it, I'll never know. Can only assume Gestede, Pasha and Owen are toasting a fine summer window. βœ…οΈ Shipped out some high earners βœ…οΈ No contact renewals (so no payrises) βœ…οΈ Replaced all out goings with lower earners βœ…οΈ Made a profit in the window
  14. That's aged well. Had the nerve to call Mercer a bullshitter as well.
  15. We can’t even compete with a 2 year contract to a 29 year old. Madness
  16. Most supporters will lap up what they have to say. They don't need to go into hiding
  17. Least we don't need to worry about relegation... it's a foregone conclusion after this past 2 months.
  18. And that’s all she wrote folks as bad a deadline day as I can remember look forward to the spin the next couple of days although I doubt we will hear anything from anybody they will likely go into hiding until the initial reaction blows over rats
  19. Seems like @AAK is the one who thrives off bullsh1t!
  20. Can't be arsed with this shit. Relegation certainties now. Venkys have killed my interest in rovers for good
  21. We were allegedly only offering him a one year extension ourselves, so also to 2027, so there can't be any 'well Wrexham were offering him a longer contract than we were willing to' etc. TBH that's quite a short contract for a 29 year old they're supposedly paying 2.7 million for. If they're sensible they'll have added a one year extension option, but I suspect they're seeing themselves as being in the Prem by then.
  22. Worse than any transfer window Waggot had
  23. It’s going to be Pickering & Miller at centre back at some point v Watford. Wharton still not 100% Absolute madness to let Hyam leave
