Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Yes, not feasible. Everyone turning out for the first game in administration etc after a rallying cry or a potential buyer has gone public. Yes, can see that. -

A reverse Boycott just undoes all the work of the original boycott, surely? Especially when the tag line is turn off the taps or not a penny more. -

People have always said that the championship is a difficult league to get out of, I think we’re making it look easy. -
Absolutely right. The manager says, we can't compete at the minute, so the players already have their excuses, as well as him. It is the injuries according to the manager and as we know, he has also stated we will be okay, when everyone is back, but just like all the other quotes (We have a more competitive team than last year etc) that doesn't hold up If ever a managerial quote could be more ill timed, this is one, as we are now in the bottom 3 we have won 2 games at home all season, one in the last 13 we can't get shots on target, let alone score and we have the added bonus of a fans boycott, so anyone who was on the fence, may now give it a miss, given this quote. The opposition will have taken note and will be all out to prove him right, so they will turn up extra fired up and ready to rub the uncompetitive, teams noses, into the dirt. As an added bonus the bookmakers are aware of this too and Watford have gone from 7/4 to 6/4 and are favorites to beat us. That price is still crazy, as this will be a defeat by at least a 2 goal margin (4/1) and will ensure we remain firmly in the relegation places at 5.00pm.

What if 3/4s of the crowd are wearing Venkies out shirts? -
ST holders not sitting in a seat they’ve paid for will end the academy and the whole club. Interesting take.

Watford need to bounce back from two rubbish home results if they are to keep top 6 dreams alive,

A consortium in the wings, different issue. But if its ’right we’ve done the boycott, next part of the campaign is a reverse boycott for Portsmouth on the 7th March’ . No chance. -
The most egregious part of that call is Gestede calling Pears a "good keeper". That has to qualify as straight up commercial fraud at this point.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Sometimes you just have to let the train wreck happen on its own. -
Hard to believe isn’t it, but it’s true by the look of it and shows exactly what this club has become. Ismael, Pasha, Gestede, the owners and the agents, all taking the fans for a ride and some are prepared to sit back and do nothing.

I think a "reverse boycott" that also included a significant/demonstrative protest component would be very good PR. -

Of course he was, still is! If you don't agree with that then yes the convo is over. Whilst he pissed a lot of fans off towards the end of his tenure at Ewood, you won't hear anyone in the wider football world speak badly about Tony. A likeable character, an ex defender too, of course clubs were happy to loan young defenders to him. Liverpool were happy to lend him highly rated Harvey Elliott, ask him what he thinks of Mowbray...... -

If Rudy cares soo much about data then why doesn’t he look at the league table and check the data out there and see where we are. Stupid clown. -
Don't know how you deduce from one word that I'm complacent. I'm going off the team we were rather than the team we are now. Before the unprecedented number of unavailable players over the last few weeks, we never looked like relegation fodder. Granted, if you said we'd have to see the season out with what we have , we'd go down. But assuming we get somewhere near back to full strength, we will have more than enough. Funnily enough, the Hedges one is the most worrying for me long term, we need a replacement.

Anyone who claims to support Blackburn Rovers has absolutely no viable reason to not support and participate in the boycott. Do it for the kids, if for nothing else.

Would there?

Let’s hope there is some real traction here, with these calls and the boycott. They are still on Twitter at the minute, so as yet, perhaps no legal threats for them to be removed. Hope the press are on to this, as well as the ban. On another note, I did hear from someone who I know personally and who posts on here and is close to the Wharton family, that Crystal Palace described their dealings with the club on Adam’s sale as being amateur.
