  1. Past hour
  2. Pressure within - as mentioned by other accounts or posters waggott was their fall guy. Now there is nobody to pin blame on itโ€™s Rudy & pasha I also see one of the Rao family in attendance recently and never has done so before. It could be wishful thinking but Iโ€™m hoping the walls are closing in on pasha and then in turn Rudy
  3. No closer to signing that one solitary addition either. Hedges for the forseeable (and beyond).
  4. Attacking the local journo because of the clubs behaviour is wild to me. Jacksonโ€™s hands are tied. Heโ€™s not an angry Rovers fan, heโ€™s a journalist for a small local paper. Thereโ€™s not much he can do. Itโ€™s a tricky balancing act.
  5. I didnโ€™t think he would but Iโ€™m impressed that he has.
  6. What was the price we got for Wharton again?
  7. VENKIES OUT, the rest will follow.
  8. Ben Doak going for ยฃ25m, what a world we live in
  9. Pressure, what pressure? Pressure from where? Pressure to do what exactly? We know the Venkies don't give a toss about success on the pitch so must just be pressure for black ink Just how do the good folks of Blackburn band together and get rid of these horrible owners. They just are not going to leave on their own.
  10. Sad but true, and a small paper like the LT can't afford to lose the minimal access they have, half of Elliots stories are passed on by the club media account anyway, so it's pure propaganda
  11. Well weโ€™re only adding a cm and a rw according to val so unless those positions are filled by rodri and salah Iโ€™d say itโ€™s fair to say we are weaker
  12. The club holds all the power unfortunately - not uncommon in football and sports journalism with this kind of behaviour. In the end the biggest question will be answered when we see what our squad looks like once the transfer window is shut.
  13. Today
  14. If I remember rightly, Jackson was on a podcast a few months ago talking Rovers. I don't know if it was his own personal channel or something. Anyway, he was basically saying what many of us have been saying about the running of the club, lack of ambition, his frustration about the January windows etc, just in a calmer manner. I remember comments on here afterwards giving him credit for being spot on and for being across the issues. The only explanation for how he is when in press conferences and when interviewing these chancers, is what you have said. He's playing it safe and trying to keep his job and ensuring the LT don't lose access. It must be difficult as he knows the reality but has to remain calm. I know I couldn't do it.
  15. Hang on, when these Indians appeared from under their stone, Armstrong would not have got a game. He didn't out grow the club, the Indians shrunk it and still are to this day! Armstrong has never been a Premier League footballer and never will be!
  16. I'm not suggesting he resign or give up his job. Just put his foot down as a journalist and tell the club that he will ask the questions that his readers want to know about. If they are restricting the topics he can ask about then he can't do his job. I am pleased he is telling people that the club are restricting his questions rather than just playing along with it. Hopefully wakes a few more of the morons up who think this is normal.
  17. What the local journo's should do is quite simple 'Ok Mr Ismael fair enough' then turn straight to the club and say right where is Mr Gestede he is director of these operations and these questions are for him to answer, if he doesn't we'll have to concoct our own headlines and he may not like it'. Makes me boil that just casually batting things off means that nobody is accountable, someone is always accountable for every action. Get after the root of it.
  18. Tight news management and all awkward questions banned. Trump's Maga regime alive and well at Ewood. How did it come to this?
  19. #7 Another archive ticket stubโ€ฆRainbow at Bingley Hall, Stafford in 1983 https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rainbow/1983/bingley-hall-stafford-england-3d87dc7.html
  20. Suhail is a cretin. A worthless control freak who clearly must now realise that you cant spin this level of neglect.
  21. The order came from the Blackburn Rovers board rather than the head coach himself.
  22. As much as many of us would like to think we'd take the moral high ground, for him it's his livelihood to support his family. I doubt his time at the LT and LancsLive has provided such a financial build up that he can tell them to sling it and abandon his job.
  23. Never forget WATR welcoming him like a legend.
  24. Fair play to him, he has lead with that https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25393354.blackburn-rovers-block-questions-future-lewis-travis/
  25. He should ask those questions anyway. If his story becomes the club not answering his questions then so be it.
