  1. Past hour
  2. Hoping to, planning to, wanting to. Actions speak louder than words. Whoever gets it will last 18 months tops before they give up or jump ship due to ridiculous ways of these owners. I see Nixon is also suggesting the tax case could be resolved within the next month HOPEFULLY allowing the owners to invest. Heard all this before but at least it keeps the transfer tittle tattle flowing for the summer.
  3. I suppose that it could be but I'm not an authority on this matter. As for teacakes, there is no debate. You are either right or wrong. People saying that teacakes have currants in them are equivalent to people who claim the earth is flat.
  4. Incomings possibly Outgoings unlikely
  5. Last night was the death of Pepball IMO. PSG are so energetic, vibrant, fast, direct…no endless passing from side to side, just go straight for the jugular. I loved it & delighted for Luis Enrique. Delightful tifo after the game as well…
  6. Christ, he’ll spot quite the difference in club culture.
  7. Hmmm? I wonder, perhaps that they are now all on TV so half your ST Holders don’t bother - I.e desolate ground.
  8. Now you have done it, beware of what you start.
  9. He lives the other side of the world so how is attending games? Midweek nights have always been part of football in my time of following Rovers and Football so what's the issue?
  10. perhaps we should adopt their attitude ?
  11. Nicko reporting that Plymouth Chief Executive Andrew Parkinson is the early front runner to replace Waggott as CEO here is his CV https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-parkinson-349888139?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=android_app
  12. Today
  13. I don’t think the owners worry at all, they simply don’t appear to give a fuck.
  14. I only watched the PSG v Inter final because it was free and I'm really out of touch with regard to European football but I have to say that the PSG performance was as near to perfect that I have seen. Inter just couldn't live with them and couldn't get close to the pace and intensity of PSG. They were relentless. As the commentators were talking about individual players what struck me was how young the PSG players are. They could really dominate European football for some time to come.
  15. That’s the least of the owners worries.
  16. To pay staff, the leccy bill etc etc etc
  17. Why do we need to bring in significant cash? Not being reinvested anyway, is it?
  18. In the fear of starting a teacake style debate… Isn’t a pasty just a type of pie?
  19. If Gestede is in charge then it'll be a complete fuck up. He'll no doubt come back with a pasty instead.
  20. Yesterday
  21. Hopefully it is HMRC then. Administration can't come soon enough. I'd snap your hands off for it right now even if the cost was relegation. We simply have to get rid of venkys. By any means necessary and whatever the cost.
  22. Having dealt with HMRC in the past it doesn't matter if it's their mistake, you'll still end up paying.
  23. Be careful what you wish for
  24. The fact that it's Bruce Springsteen
  25. Our previous head of consumer came into the club, initially as head of marketing. At 24. He had been a marketing manager at Bournemouth before that, having worked his way up from intern in 4 years. Immediately before his internship, he was working hospitality at a golf club. There will be hordes of applicants for the job. I’m genuinely considering applying myself (I’m not qualified) to see how stringent the process is.
  26. Like everyone, I’m concerned/mortified thinking where the squad might be on 2nd September. But just like a car crash, the overwhelming feeling I’ve got is morbid curiosity. We have virtually no prize assets that can bring in significant cash, we very likely are living hand to mouth and we have a manager that stated he wanted most of the transfer business done by the first day of preseason. We have possibly the least-experienced staff (all the way through the club) we’ve ever had, to make it happen. Whatever we think is going to happen, I reckon what actually happens will be orders of magnitude more batshit.
  27. Agreed, journalists finding a thread and pulling at it is exactly what we’ve needed.
