They didn't want to pay an "appearance" fee for someone to come over and play. Instead used the takings of the Everton game to travel and stay in Holland, whilst commanding an appearance fee from our opposition to play there. Everyone is backwards at this club.

Got to agree. Seems a good guy and has been a top player last season. Big shoes to fill. Hurts he’s going to a team who have been as rank average as we have been lately, would be better if he’d gone to a prem team or somewhere abroad. But guess that’s our level these days
