  1. Past hour
  2. As disastrous as Pears has been, his stats always showed quite high compared to other keepers, mainly on last though...Season before he was just terrible. We will get over a million for him I'd say.
  3. Couldn't stand losing to those berks yet again...no thank you!
  4. He's usually missing when the opposition have a shot at our goal, tbf.
  5. No chance, could easily get over ยฃ1m from a Championship Club for him. Then if Man Utd (or any other PL Club) still want him as their 4th choice, double it.
  6. Nobody is paying ยฃ2m for Pears. 6 Figures I would think.
  7. Couldn't help but notice that Pears is conspicuously missing from all the new GK kit marketing. Their latest X post even features one of the younger goalies (Michalski I think) alongside Toth. Couple that with Toth being touted as next season's #1... pretty much confirms that Pears will be sold this window! Should be a cool little ยฃ1m-2m in the transfer kitty Venky's pockets.
  8. Markandey is a 4th division player, as this proves.
  9. The wages to trigger his contract year are probably higher than any transfer fee we could have got for him. He's really not very good.
  10. It's OK I play Mondays but wanted a 2nd night haha
  11. Anyone remember the Kappa kits? They were painted on!
  12. We play in Wigan. Sorry it's always full!
  13. Is this like a post-season tournament or a pre-season tournament? I noticed that Chelsea subbed on Liam Delap the other night, who they obviously only signed shortly before.
  14. The fixture list will be absolutely butchered for TV before long. Wouldn't surprise me if some of those fixtures on the 27th December were moved to boxing day for TV coverage, and some to Sunday the 28th too. Then that could have a knock on affect for the games on the 30th December to move a day or two and end up on NYD which is a Thursday, and then some Saturday 3rd Jan fixtures moved to the Sunday etc. Be interesting to see what the Championship schedule is over Christmas. I could see 26th, 29th December, 1st and 4th January for the games.
  15. Considering the club are always crying poverty, it is a bit strange we haven't tried to scrape some money out of this situation either now or in the future. I doubt any league 2 team would have paid any transfers fees, so your idea seems like a no brainer almost. Unless we've gone all noble and "done the right thing by the player", which is at odds with how the club operate on day to day basis.
  16. Looking at their games it appears that there are no Boxing Day or NYD fixtures in the Premier League.
  17. Away boxing day and home on the final day going off there fixtures.
  18. Burnleys fixture release gives us some clues as to Rovers fixtures. Usually when Burnley are at home, Rovers are away and vice versa for policing purposes. Therefore using this logic Home - Weekend of November 8th (closest to 5th November) for 150th Anniversary, New Years Fixture, Last game of the season Away - First game of the season, Boxing Day,
  19. Burnley are at Spurs in their first match so we will be away in our first match the week before.
  20. Today
  21. Our fixtures are released next Thursday (26/7). Premier League fixtures are released today, with the dingles being in there we should have a good idea today as to whether we will be home or away on the opening, last, boxing day etc.
  22. The bit that's Obscured By Clouds. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  23. I'll go for Barrow at Ewood.
  24. Yep agree with premise of all that. Like you allude to though we're not a normal club and it's all pointless here. I would rather every player ran there contracts down and left on a free rather than selling them while this lot are in charge.
  25. Where Southgate got lucky was getting the job in the first place.
  26. Not sure why this is causing so much confusion, but how I see it: England did well to get as far as we did in tournaments under Southgate. Some of those draws were lucky, but you can only beat whatโ€™s in front of you. It isnโ€™t disrespectful to Southgate to highlight the fact he didnโ€™t win a trophy, itโ€™s just purely factual.
