  1. Past hour
  2. Another classic match for the 150th anniversary DVD.
  3. garret on his way back to fitness, just like having a new player😁
  4. Is he prepared to pay his exit fee? I doubt it. Is anyone else likely to pay it for him - maybe a Rovers fan who has won the lottery otherwise don't hold your breath...
  5. Such a policy allows Ismael, the Regime, Nixon and local media to tell everyone who can be bothered to read/listen that there is a decent kitty available for players It will never get used, because none of our targets will entertain our derisory wage structure, but for minimal effort and zero cost they can pretend that there's a good Venky budget sat there Heard and seen this before. All very convenient.
  6. tgh is the type of player you bring on for 15 mins to see the game out,he`s not good enough to make an impact,he`d never start in a decent side, hence birmingham farmed him out to us
  7. Thought he was barely average at first but coming round to your point of view. Talk of making him permanent is barmy. If it does happen it proves that business at the Club takes place to line certain people's pockets rather than on the basis of ability or how they've actually performed.
  8. A really depressing waste of an afternoon watching that rubbish. Just a massive lack of quality throughout the team. Henriksson is an absolute waste of space, he doesn't offer us a single thing. De Neve again is another competition winner. The young attacking players in Dlamini, Powell and Doherty are absolutely nowhere near the standard to be playing at this level, theyve no business being near it and probably wouldnt get close to a functional side in League 2. Not their fault, we badly need to bring in numerous attacking players, we did before this game, we still do and because of Venkys im pretty sure we wont before next weekend. Hull were awful too and didnt look like they could be arsed but our defenders did show up well. Cashin, O'Riordan and Atcheson all did their job, they all had a wobbly moment or two but overall they were all solid. Toth also commands his box and provides a much stronger presence in goal, has to stay in.
  9. You'd think clubs would learn we actually have good youth players, worth loaning and playing.
  10. Two injury ravaged teams on a dreadful pitch in dreadful conditions serve up a match that wouldn't have looked out of place at pleasington.
  11. Must admit I have found the Gardner-Hickman loan one of the more baffling pieces of business in the last 12 months. The lad is shite.
  12. No, sorry. There are a huge amount of managers who would have managed more than one win in the 11 We've just played. More managers than I can count or name. Yes the squad is shit, but so is he.
  13. It's all just complete BS isn't it? Seemingly a lot (not on here particularly) still seem to swallow it.
  14. I think it's tempting to believe that because then a change of manager is an easy fix but in my view this is the worst Blackburn Rovers squad I have ever seen and I don't know how we can expect anything more than *possibly* escaping relegation. That's as good as it gets which is so sad. The effort is still there from all rhe players which suggests to me they have faith in the manager, that's what I think will get us 20th.
  15. Several people had already mentioned it. Clear penalty. Ref was useless all game.
  16. Well, we'll see if he walks. I'd say not a chance. He'll still be here if (when) he takes us down.
  17. Unfortunately Powell, Dlamini and Doherty are all miles off it physically. Even more unfortunately De Neve, Henriksson and Gardner-Hickman are miles off it ability wise. The rest are mostly bog standard at best. The lack of quality in our squad is criminal.
  18. Chuckle brothers on Roverst TV talking about penalties as a 'lottery' and just about 'luck' Perhaps Southgate and England could have saved a lot of time and money on not employing experts to work out why England kept losing on penalties. After shedloads of analysis they worked out why they had been going wrong and simple techniques to improve (which they did and Kane attributes to much of his success). Did we bother prior to the game? Or maybe we weren't that bothered so that we could concentrate on the league? The 400 who went should be given a free ticket to the next home game -or then again maybe not. 😉
  19. Sure am. Nothing ill-mannered about me today, minus this horrible cough I've got. Just saying, you can't bleat about people giving you stick for it, then bring him up yourself unprovoked.
  20. Game of 3 halves from Rovers TV for me 1- no audio no video 2 -audio no video 3- no audio but had video Probably made the game much more bearable. Take aways - Toth clinched his place thanks to ET - Baradji classiest player on the pitch - Henriksen has an engine on him and can play a bit when in a familiar position - if only Tyjon had been running onto the pass Baradji slipped through to Doherty No Cup run so back to the Academy the lot of you...
  21. not sure about that,he`s been looking frustrated on the touchline in the last couple of weeks,he certainly is`nt acting like mowbray.i.e sat down looking at his bank balance
  22. So let me get this straight we can bring in forwards for "a good fee" but that forward must accept wages between £5,000 - £10,000?? Good luck with a few things in this model: Getting those imaginary players in before Ipswich. Having players on that structure come in and have the immediate impact that's required. (They will either have to lack quality or be unproven) The bizarre setup is counterproductive and will only end in relegation from the Championship. The owners need to get gone. Just a few more pennies to drop yet in the fanbase, must be the slow learners......
