  2. These are the teams confirmed to be using the Pinatar Arena over the course of this summer: Al Ain (Abu Dhabi), Elche (Spain), Murcia (Spain), NEOM (Saudi), Al Rayyan (Qatar), Melilla (Spain), Albacete (Spain), Bournemouth, Swansea, Bristol Rovers, Cardiff, Millwall, Everton, Hearts, Stevenage, Stockport, Crawley, St Mirren, Southend, Curzon Ashton, Rovers There will probably be more using it but these are the clubs featured on their 2025 poster
  3. I'm down there visiting family on the 24th July so il be down to the pinatar arena on the Friday, would be better to play a proper Spanish team not some dogshit match against uk opponents. Dies anyone know if you can drink beer whilst watching the game? That would be good, it's going to be one big piss up on that Friday game. Hopefully it's not cancelled? Why would they?
  4. Yeah I noticed that, looks like he’s on the move somewhere. I wouldn’t read too much into the fee, 2 million quid split over 3 years on 10k a week with the intention to flog in the next couple of years is low risk.
  5. I thought Elliot was partially at fault for their goal, instead off playing off the players legs for a throw or pushing it up the line, he tried to flick it over him and lost possession. Minor gripe, man of the match imo and you could see his class when he was with us.
  6. Best time to play the likes of Soton, Ipswich and Leicester away is either at the very start or very end of the season IMO. More chance of catching them off guard either before they've got settled down or after there's nothing left to play for. I'd rather play one of them first game than a Charlton, Birmingham or Wrexham bouncing from promotion.
  7. We don’t have a pot to piss in and as the season is still weeks away likely don’t want anyone in till the first game to save paying wages like last year. Frees and loans is the best we can hope for
  8. love him to come here but other clubs will also be circling and we never win a race for anybody🙂
  9. Not targeting an additional CB to replace Batth, but we are still targeting the previously mentioned left-footed CB.
  10. Jackson said they are not targeting an additional centre back to replace Batth .... beyond the left sided centre back that they were already targeting Will basically leave us with Carter & Hyam as right sided, Wharton & new guy as left sided options, with Atcheson, O'Riordan, Litherland as younger back up
  11. Wait? Jackson's has said that we arnt targeting any CB with Baath leaving...I imagine it's either old news or just smokescreen crap like with the other French lads.
  12. Today
  13. I think Legia are playing tonight and he isnt involved. But wasnt an issue that he didnt want to come to a Championship side? Before you even consider finances.
  14. Looks like Legia are up sh*t creek and trying to offload whoever they can, can’t imagine he’ll be earning a right lot in the polish league either..
  15. I’d argue we didn’t even want Forshaw, given we actively released him.
  16. Being posted on several accounts though. Either copying each other or something in it
  17. Legia is in serious money problems. They need the cash they can get. They are even in more problems than Blackburn. Selling a player cheaper than they want to is least of their problems.
  18. Nar its probably bullshit but yeah, you're right, gets it out of the way at least. Reckon we'd be in for a proper pasting though.
  19. Southend are playing Cardiff and St Mirren are playing MK Dons at the same stadium so there’s no guarantee our matches will be against Spanish teams.
  20. There's absolutely shit loads of teams in Spain, shouldn't be an issue finding opposition although the standard won't be great I don't think. Real Murcia and Cartagena would be the obvious choices.....
  21. more chance of venkys appearing in blackburn,he`s not going for the peanuts we offer, thats for certain, think legia want 4 million for him, seeing as we will probably offer 400k,it is definately a non starter
  22. Better on a Saturday in August than a Tuesday in January tbf, not that I believe it's a legit rumour like.
  23. Looks like Steve Kapaudi is the left sided centre back they are focusing their attention on, with the stumbling block being Legia owe a 35% sell on. 6 foot 5 french born Congolese international, spent his entire career in Eastern Europe. Scored in Legia Warsaw’s 2-1 win over Chelsea last season. Being reported by a Polish journo on X…
  24. Do we have a rough release time?
