  1. Past hour
  2. Toth O'Riordan Atcheson Pratt Miller Baradji Tronstad Cantwell Powell Joseph Ohashi Miller not the best choice at wing back, but we completely lack wide options, Ribeiro on the wing would be madness
  3. I mean for me that was him bailing the owners out on the pitch front. "It's ok guys, just use the January transfer budget!"
  4. One win in nine, but results elsewhere going our way.
  5. I hope those shirts they wore today end up in a skip, but I bet the club tries to flog them on that auction site.
  6. Toth Miller Pratt McLoughlin Pickering Tronstad Baradji Cantwell Ohashi Ribero Gueye play back 4 experienced team back to basics next match
  7. When did this lot last put a smile on our faces over the Xmas and New Year period ?
  8. I do wonder why after performances like that, man of the match awards are not cancelled for the day. I would be genuinely embarrassed to receive an award after a performance of that standard
  9. Recruitment team needs to act fast here, next to critical that they get at least one experienced striker in before game against Ipswich on the 17th. Our last nine games of the season could very well seal our fate and condemn us to relegation if we continue sleepwalking further down the table. As I've stated earlier, my belief (and fear) is that we are a reactive side with no 'available funds' and who needs selling players first before we act rather than being proactive and have players ready within the first few days of the transfer window. Our last five or six winter transfer windows are horrendous as well, not spending more than £1 million in any of those. If recruitment team fails in January (again), we will get relegated.
  10. I had a few days away booked, we were setting off after the match today and then coming back for Sunday’s match. I can’t see myself bothering on Sunday now tbh- what’s the point?
  11. He won't be doing any interviews any time soon, he's too busy phoning every struggling 2nd and 3rd division club on the continent desperate to see what cross he can bring in for £200k this week to appease the fans
  12. But but..........we've had a bid turned down for a player! We're all over it!
  13. Lol......not that they give these awards away like smarties for doing absolutely nothing or anything............
  14. The big question is will Chaddy now only predict us to win by 1 against Charlton at the weekend? or are we still going to score a bagful? 😉
  15. Came over from Jersey to watch that dross. What a load of rubbish and a waste of money.
  16. Toth has to be a cast iron cert for a return after Pears let that one in on his near side.
  17. The team that couldn't score against a poor Wednesday side were never going to score against an average Wrexham. Chuck into that a dodgy Pears positional goal and it was game over from then on in. A poor display from a tired team only made worse by the sky fawning over Wrexham's really average team. (who fully deserved the win but didn't have ro do much) I don't care if Gueye has a bad attitude. He is getting paid by rovers and should be playing given our lack of attack
  18. Some people like him because he has very lightly criticised the owners by complaining about the pitch. Some people also like the way he throws all the players individually under the bus by slagging them off in public (I don't like that myself, it doesn't seem to have worked with any of them). I don't like him because I don't think he's a very good football manager. He's been a manager for a decade or more, and the most success he's ever had was getting Barnsley into 6th place in the season behind closed doors. Everywhere else in England he has been a dud.
  19. Definitely the colour of surrender. Bland, uninspiring and irrelevant. Good choice.
  20. I'm not sure that there was one. But just for Rev......
  21. Credit to Wrexham. Missing key players, they were fully in control. Just very simple stuff as well from them, they were just well drilled and committed. Rathbone epitomised everything I want to see in a Rovers player.
  22. I'd be saying here's 18 months. keep us up then stabilise next seas on and take it from there. Might as well roll the dice and at least you know what you get with Mowbray but to be honest even he probably wouldn't touch it with a barge pole now.
  23. Not what I said. I said "at times" we were capable of some decent play under those two. I certainly don't think he's much of an upgrade though. Personally I find him nearly as dislikeable as Kean as well although I know some people seem to like him for some strange reason.
  24. At any other club he'd already have been sacked.
  25. Made in Blackburn.. Destroyed in India. 15 years and counting. Sick of it..
  26. Mowbray, whether people like him or not, is at least twice the manager / coach that Ismael is. I would have him back for the rest of the season in a heartbeat. At any other club, Ismael would be under intense pressure.
