  1. Past hour
  2. The ex-Head of Premier League Referees said it wasn't a penalty and so did my eyes. To quote the great Brian Blessed in Flash Gordon: "Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive".
  3. Wouldn't have sacked Wilder in first place and secondly wouldn't have appointed Selles. Mowbray would want a 5 year project to sort SU and I wouldn't touch him with the proverbial shitty stick - think he's a legend in his own mind only and now a washed-up managerial dinosaur. Wilder is an obvious choice - big difference is they've lost 3 key players in Ahmed, Souza and Moore and signed some dross since Wilder was sacked. Success for them this season would be to hit 60 points. .
  4. Yep, its just a series of individual circumstances and there is no pattern to see here and nothing that the club has done wrong.
  5. As is Coyle's promotion to the PL!!!
  6. Yet you ignored most of the game which we were better team
  7. Cos you ignored the context of each player situation within your argument. Tronstad doesn't want to re-sign cos he wants to go back to Norway. Travis wanted out and go and join Eustace. Dolan was never re-sign here. We probably knew that 18 months ago. Brittain was the biggest surprise for me So based on just that?
  8. Today
  9. It was a penalty against Birmingham. The West Brom ones perhaps but we were really poor that day. Its more the Birmingham one that people are claiming as unfortunate and undeserved whereby it was our own naivety and poor decision making that led to both goals. Especially the 2nd.
  10. Again, you go off on tangents regarding individual players but the fact remains. And obviously regarding Gestede, how he speaks publically. And I am clearly not on my own in thinking that.
  11. It’s because he’s been part of pro football since being about 8 years old, he’d have been surrounded by pros at the club all saying that. If he’d just been a fan with his Grandad I doubt he would… still should though, just sounds wrong with an east Lancs accent.
  12. Daniel Gudjohnsen scored two for malmø FF today. Sign him up in january, to play alongside his brother?😌
  13. Cantwell loves to miss a game with a cold or a niggle. Henriksson will play a lot this season. I think he's a goal scoring #10. Whilst Cantwell likes to drift out wide and create, Henriksson will be looking to get on the end of balls.
  14. Yes we all know that but was Travis ever really going to sign a new contract after Eustace left, probably not and then add his comments he made last week, made it sound like he was always going. I always noticed you avoid the Gestede's question, what is the context behind your comment? A conversation with him in person? based on an interview? what others who met him have told you? etc etc
  15. Yes, Gestede come across as a massive knobhead.
  16. WBA scored 1 goal, which only happened because there was a foul in the lead up (their player dragged Alebiosu to the ground in the box). We also didn't get a stonewall penalty on Ohashi. There was nothing in that game We were winning against Birmingham until the referee incorrectly gave a penalty against us. So yes, we should have more points - but we don't because that's football. We should have had a penalty yesterday, but those decisions aren't going our way this season and it's definitely costing us points.
  17. He was always going to thrive in a less competitive league. He was treated like a little boy in the Championship. More time on the ball and more space, his natural skill has been allowed to show.
  18. may sound weird or overly optimistic ..win by 2 goals
  19. Gueye will be lucky to make the bench now
  20. Get that, I never really liked the Beatles or the Stones, can't stand Coldplay or ACDC πŸ‘
  21. Again chaddy, 1 first team player in 2 seasons has signed a new deal at the club. That being a left back who signed on a strange initial 6 month deal that was then extended. That pattern isnt normal and isnt healthy. End of story. You clearly are swallowing everything that comes out of people within the clubs mouths and that is your prerogative.
  22. This will be a tough one I think will take a draw now but anything can happen
  23. DeNeve doesn’t look like a player to me. We will no doubt see if he is in the future.
  24. Does he actually wear all the spare shirts ?
  25. I'm twisting nothing but asking you some questions on your post I seen the BBD a different situation to others one(apart from The Rothwell January one) and these ones this summer. But we can't keep allowing players to walk away for free, odd one fair enough but not 5 or 6 good solid players yet we made 10 signings. Surely we should only offered what we afford within the wage budget, is it too low or other clubs offer players much more than we can afford within the budget. Also if for example give Travis what he wanted then you also created problem with other players demand similar wages cos they are also key players within the squad. do you not see that? based on what? add context to your point? some players settled quickly than others. Someone like Ryan Alebiosu would settled faster than Dion De Neve. I gave you the Tronstad who we didn't see for 2 months then he has been key player for us ever since. Yes granted some overseas players don't settled well or perform well enough and its a huge gamble, to signed so many but you can target English speakers which help take some of the gamble away first, it was a good for vast majority we control, defended well and if Karbgo had score that chance we 2 nil up and winning that game. That's has been constant opinion from 5pm on the Saturday of that game
  26. If you’ve got to play the big clubs now is the time to do it. Before they get their new signings integrated into the machine.
  27. That doesn't seem to make any sense in response to what I said.
