  1. Past hour
  2. Hyam was definitely leaving, so I get the idea of selling him...I just don't get why they've waited until the window is virtually closed. Maybe they'll pull something off? But I doubt it. Hyam is a good, but unspectacular CB at this level. His best ability is the fact that he's never injured or suspended, but he's easily replaceable from a quality perspective.
  3. Let me get this straight, our CB choices are now: McLoughlin who only joined this summer Wharton who's just returned from a seriously long term injury Carter who can't last more than 20 mins before picking up another injury Miller who was signed as a right back to replace Brittain With McLoughlin suspended for the next game who's playing CB against Watford away? Wharton and Miller? Christ. A complete an utter mess.
  4. That’s a lot of money for Hyam but still a terrible deal given the timing and lack of replacement.
  5. Perhaps Gudjohnsson was signed as a centre back?
  6. Just catching up. What's this I'm seeing Hyam up for sale?
  7. i gotta say....that little weasel has effed us from day 1 when he planned this with kentaro.... i never wish ill on anyone but "GOD HELP ME!"
  8. Scum. All they care about is money, the football club is secondary.
  9. I'm fucking livid. This is beyond the fucking pale. Cunts.
  10. Surprised Pickering hasn't been moved on, I bet they tried. Annoying that it's taken till an hour before the window to bid almost 3 million for Hyam FFS...
  11. The spin now will be the buzz word transition - mistakes of the past meant players out of contract could leave if the right money came in now all we need to do is bed the new players in and get behind the team then here’s the kicker they will promote Jan as being a window we will now target Iv remained calm always said wait to window is closed but that’s it pretty much done and tbh looks like rovers could be done too bottom 5 battle commences
  12. Will just be used to pay a month's wages.
  13. Much as I'm with you (and I hope you all know by now how I feel about this shitshow) but it wouldn't surprise me if we managed to stay up. That's the dilemma. If we do, then Pasha/RGs smug faces will be unbearable. If we go down, well gloom all round. But, would it hasten the departure of the loons. That I don't know.
  14. My only glimmer of hope is that often all assets are stripped and costs cut prior to a sale.
  15. What could we do, end of his contract soon. Miller is better. Spend money in January. Get behind the lads.
  16. Got a decent side for league one fun next season
  17. Would suggest they couldn’t help but accept a couple of extra million despite knowing there was no time for a replacement. Greed trumped wisdom as per usual. Hyam is Mr Mediocre and if a replacement was found then fair enough. If there’s no replacement then it’s greedy and negligent.
  18. I much preferred the days when we saw players run down their contracts and leave for free. At least it gave us the chance of competing in this league. Venkys out! Suhail out! Rudy out!
  19. I keep seeing people say this but it really isn't. It's only good business if it's reinvested properly and not pocketed by the owners. I fear this is the beginning of a spiral down the leagues.
  20. For the bean counters. Not in the interests of Rovers and the league we play in. It’s terrible business
