  1. Past hour
  2. Are they presenting a replica FA Cup on Sunday? Saw this posted about the wrong date being engraved but can’t see anything from the club Edit - seems they deleted the tweet, probably scrambling to change the 0 to an 8
  3. Football web pages has our average home league attendance at 13959 for this season 25/26 Nearly two thousand less than those quoted figures.
  4. I follow Republic of Ireland and Castore have been their supplier for the last few years, the prices are awful and the quality and appearance of the kits is even worse. Apart from this season's home jersey which was a bit disappointing, I've generally been happy with Macron's designs over the last few seasons. The fact that last season's kits were the best sellers we've had in years reflects that IMO. Even this season's gold kit is okay, just think they could have used better landmarks than Blackburn train station on it, etc.
  5. I think a finance director is possibly quite useful, as would be a sales & marketing director plus a chief operating officer. That way you don’t have concentration of powers, you have a proper champion/challenge in the boardroom with proper checks & balances. We have none of those things.
  6. He's back in here batting for the owners like his life depends on it. He'll be getting a cap on the pitch versus Watford. Venkys #1 supporter on this forum.
  7. Who gives a fk whether he does or not. Focus on the people that want the club to change for the better
  8. The fit on Castore sportswear is terrible. They produce Lancs & England cricket stuff - I've spent near £500 over the past 18 months and sent all bar a pair of Lancs training shorts back. I'm a medium, I've kept a size small and have to turn them up at the waist so they're an ok length. The Umbro quality next season will not be the same as it was pre Macron.
  9. Have we signed, anyone to play in this game yet ??
  10. It's called Venky fatigue. Nothing a good protest and change of ownership won't fix
  11. On paper, Wooton looks like a bit of a waste of time. 29 years old, and last season he scored 11 league goals, 8 the season before. Ohashi type numbers but in League One and Two respectively. Suggests this season's flurry is the exception not the norm. A no from me unless he's an absolute boss at being a target man. Ballard seems a much better shout, better numbers at a much younger age. But a short sample size and young, may not hit the ground like we need. If he was one of two strikers signed though, with the other having more proven goals pedigree, could be a good move. All of this being on paper, I've never seen either player. Agree I felt we should go for Aasgaard at the time.
  12. Complete waste of time for Charlie that loan to Oldham
  13. You echo the sentiments of many Ian.Sorry to keep making the same point but this is a Club I dont recognise in its present state anymore.Cold and distant,Its almost lost its connection with the fanbase. • I hate the Owners. • Can't stand the Charlatans running the Club at Ewood. • Have no like for this Manager and feel no empathy with any of these awful Players in our Shirt. The full Monty, what a position to be in,its really that bad...will the last one out turn the Ewood lights off please.
  14. Today
  15. Its probably already being considered I actually though you were going to pull me up on my use of the word "if", rather than "when" 😉
  16. Can’t we try refashioning one of the numerous youth ‘keepers first?
  17. If they sell Alebiosu, are we then allowed to consider a new right wing back? Or are we still pinning our hopes on an injured Litherland rising like Lazarus and playing out of position with no back up?
  18. I can only speak for myself but I have over the last 10 years especially distanced myself from the club incrementally. From being a Season ticket holder (whilst living in London I would add…), plus c.10 away games per season & about £250 club shop spend each year; is now about 4 home games, 3 or 4 away games & zero spend in club shop. In that time a whole new generation of Rovers support has emerged that knows nothing other than the Venky’s, so the proportion of older fans who know what is possible & is angry/frustrated is dwindling each season. I now fear when reading other sites that I am in the minority in wanting change but TBH I’m now so weary with it, I wont do anything beyond rant on podcasts & radio programmes when given a chance. I fear I am numb to it as a coping strategy.
  19. Mate sent me a comment he'd seen, apparently Talksport commentary against Wrexham said Rovers had "1 or 2 injuries ".
  20. You know the score-we sneak a win or draw-things limp on....
  21. Jack Barrett's loan at Tranmere has been extended until the end of the season - Tranmere fans seem happy enough Harrison Wood & James Edmondson have had their loans extended until the end of January,. Which means Edmondson may face Adam Wharton in the FA Cup next week Charlie Olson has had his loan cut short, although no mention of Harley O'Grady-Macken
