  1. Past hour
  2. Given the point deduction they get I dont promotion will be likely.. I look at strikers and they dont say goalscorers. Wingers and Reid are very good players plus Jordan James. I think they should back him. I guess any decisions will be left until the new Sporting director/technical director is appoint
  3. They have the highest wage bill in the division so I'm not sure you can seriously claim financial poverty as an excuse for them being 16th. They're either paying very average players a lot of money, or they've got a manager who is making a talented squad look very average. If the owner can't find money for any further serious transfers then Cifuentes isn't going to be able to build a new team for promotion in the near or distant future. Any points deduction makes it even more imperative to have as many points as possible before it kicks in (if it's applied this season). I guess we'll see what happens in January. They're either going to have to back Cifuentes in the transfer market (not just freebies and loans as they did in the summer), or roll the dice on bringing in someone who can get a tune out of the very highly paid players already at the club.
  4. I can't identify 3 other teams that are likely to finish below us apart from Sheff Wed of course. Sheff Utd definitely on the rise and probably also Norwich and Swansea under new management. That just leaves Oxford who regularly take points and will likely win at Ewood in a couple of weeks time. That just leaves Pompey to make up the doomed threesome.
  5. On the plus side Wrexham do a park and ride about a mile from the ground. It's free to park and £1 return. Quite a few Rovers fans had done the same research as me and used it. A wider point for me is that more clubs should be encouraged to adopt a park and ride with local councils.
  6. Thats when they will realise unfortunately.
  7. I got an afternoon of enjoyment watching my team play well. What's not to be pleased with that?
  8. That's poor both from Wrexham and football authority.
  9. A good point in isolation and reflecting without the immediate anger of conceding in the 95th minute For balance you have to give it to Rudy et al on Andri, he's a real poacher and I believe his goals will keep us in the league However, having players like De Neve & Gueye to bring on is a reflection on the lack of interest and investment by our wretched owners, they are both appalling footballers
  10. Truthfully the club has grown quickly from a football point of view but the infrastructure is still lower league. There aren't enough turnstiles, the 'concourse' was so small it was dangerously overcrowded. The toilets were ridiculously small too. Hundreds of Rovers fans couldn't actually get in as there was a problem scanning barcodes on android phones. We were waiting outside for around 15 minutes for paper tickets to be printed and brought around the ground so we could get in. Eventually the problem was sorted but outside the ground fans were getting frustrated. This was the view from my seat. I am going to write to Wrexham asking why we weren't advised of the restricted view.
  11. Can't argue at the free kick given in all honesty, Lino was always going to give it, hedges shouldn't have lunged in. That Ohashi chance second half will haunt him for a while, why he didn't put his foot through it or just place it in the corner I'll never know. I would have took a point before hand but the manner of the goal and other teams around us winning, it feels like a defeat.
  12. @arbitroand @Parsonbluecan I asked what Wrexham's ground is like facilities or food menu options?
  13. Today
  14. Which he wrote on social media 🤣🤣
  15. So what's your answer and what are going to do?
  16. But surely this charade can't go on indefinitely and then we won't be playing at Ewood in blue and white? Then they'll lose what they hold most dear.
  17. There is a good portion of fans who don't care about any of that. Aslong as there is a side who are playing in blue and white at Ewood to watch every week they are happy.
  18. It could be but that is speculation. What both Cantwell and the manager said is fact and they contradicted each other. Time will tell but whichever way something doesn't feel right.
  19. There is an expectation John that the linesman will operate to reflect how the game is being refereed and the referee (who I thought was decent) allowed a lot of physicality which is how the vast majority of fans, players and managers want to see the game managed. The free kick awarded against Hedges was so soft and completely out of kilter with how the match was being refereed. I saw a comment that the Wrexham player involved told someone from Rovers that it wasn't a foul. Significantly Hedges (who strikes me as a decent, honest guy) was still complaining as the players were going down the tunnel several minutes after the game had finished. Oh, and this is the same linesman who flagged Dolan offside at that lots ground last season when he was clearly onside. He is well known in the refereeing world for being erratic.
  20. He is right. They played well that's pretty much all his post was about not sure what's wrong with praising the players.
  21. Actually a really good way of describing us. Jekyll and Hyde lol I wish we were more Rambo than the current Titanic....
  22. Only for anyone who cares about blackburn rovers. They certainly won't be crying about anything.
  23. called support your club through the good and bad times 🔵⚪
  24. exactly its a shoulder charge. Wrexham's player says it wasn't a foul but yet again match officials bottled it again. Same as Whiteman's red card challenge which somehow wasn't given as a red I enjoyed reading his match summary and his thoughts on the game. His match summary and that of @arbitro are both correct. No-one has said that they are pleased with 18th so pleased stop this nonsense, but having such an overhaul of squad was always likely to lead to poorer league position than last season. I have said I thought Ismael wanted too defensive too soon and not leaving 2 up front was massive mistake for me. I wouldn't have brought De Neve but I would brought on Ribeiro instead and push Hedges up front with Gueye if Ohashi or Gudjohnsen couldn't have stayed on. Also people expected to get beat and well beaten yet Rovers performed very well and actually got a better than most predicted on here,.
  25. Once again I marvel at the lengths you go to to support your club--rain or shine. If we were playing Torquay on a Tuesday night you and a few others would be there! But don't you ever feel taken for granted? Or anger at what Pasha and Co are doing to this once great Club?
  26. Its just the usual dumbing down of expectation coming to the fore, its what we have become.Snatching a draw from the Jaws of victory provides no solice for me personally in our precarious position. Can we beat Ipswich or will it be Jekyll and Hyde time again with our oddball side? 'Ismael's misfits'
