  1. Past hour
  2. Your mistake was to say what transfers you think Rovers need in January in a thread entitled ‘Rover’s January transfer needs’ I wonder who called it that…
  3. He should be with a good week of training. Will be on the bench though.
  4. "We will respect the Jack Walker legacy" Never forget, never forgive.
  5. Hopefully our away form can carry on for another game as we can't afford to lose this in my opinion. Portsmouth 1 Rovers 2
  6. Fratton Park is usually noisy but they will be desperate after losing that 6 pointer at Swansea last night. Josh Murphy is the main threat so Aleboyusu will need to be on his game. Otherwise they seem typical scrappy Championship with more than average defensive mistakes but a decent keeper.
  7. It could be in Thai Bahts, and two million for Tavares would be too much.
  8. He said "most" not "all" so you didn't need to bring up Gudjohnsen's 6 goals as it's clear he isn't one of the ones who have been bad. Him & Alebiosu have been good, Mori is getting better and I think will be a good player, TGH is average. The rest have been poor to dreadful, with the jury out on Baradji. I can't understand anyone looking at McLoughlin and thinking he has been a good signing, bloke doesn't tackle & dreadful in the air for someone who is 6'3. You can see why Hull shunted him out to left back to keep him well away from anything going on in the middle.
  9. To be fair you can't expect to buy players and have decent drinks on offer.
  10. Again those are published attendances, not actual attendances.
  11. 15 years and never finished in the playoffs. Nobody at Ewood park with authority to make decisions to change things. Not had a CEO for a long time. Nobody seems to have anything idea of what’s the short term or long term aims are. We’re the equivalent of tumbleweed blowing across the desert. F… knows where we’re going.
  12. Including the cup game, average attendance was about 15,700 last season - https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/blackburn-rovers/attendances/2024-2025 Including the cup game and last night, average attendance is 13,500 this season - https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/blackburn-rovers/attendances The Burnley and Sunderland games made a big difference last season.
  13. Not sure it was a 'comfortable' option, more a frustrated one where we've traipsed down to Ewood Park twice this season in the rain only to see the match abandoned. It's quite a time commitment. With no apology for Saturday and no resolution in sight, how could we trust this club to fulfil the fixture if it rains?
  14. Gudjohnsen 6 goals in 15 games,is that negative impact? Alebiosu been outstanding McLoughlin, Miller, TGH, Morishita all have a positive impact for me. Morishita is getting better.
  15. One man’s legacy Destroyed by four Indians Jack will be spinning
  16. There was a moment in the second half where the ball was played to Tavares near the edge of our box (by I assume Ribeiro, but it was by someone occupying that spot). Instead of turning on the ball into absolutely acres of space he played a simple pass the direction he was facing. Even Rovers commentary team, who see everything through rose tinted glasses, groaned.
  17. John Denver - Leaving On a Jet Plane
  18. I'm amazed Gardner-Hickman gets so much grief on here.
  19. You can only sell/loan players if you can find buyers. If Carter could be sold/loaned then fine, but given his struggles to stay fit, I do not feel we would find any takers. In that instance we are left with him here, as part of the squad, When fit, he is first choice in that right centre back role for me, but it would be madness not to insure against another likely injury
  20. Jet Harris And Tony Meehan - Diamonds
  21. In terms of bare additions, it's one extra body. Whether anyone brought in in January will make a difference or Ismael will like them once he gets them here, remains to be seen. Most of the players brought in in summer have had a negative impact imo.
  22. Out of interest what was the average away fans number for last season. A different supporter started this debate last night by somehow suggesting that paying suppporters were supporting Venky's with the implication that if more stopped going Venky's would leave. Your actual numbers suggest that is unlikely to happen as they are still here. Many supporters in the ground want them to leave. We need a united fanbase whether you attend or not without blame games, unsupported by evidence, being played!
  23. We cant keep stockpiling players. 6 is enough. Either you keep Carter and leave O'Riordan on loan, or bring O'Riordan back and either not buy one or buy one and sell/loan Carter out.
  24. I dont think the media have ever cared. Small Lancashire Town, small gates, must be because they aren't in the prem, will be most peoples thoughts. Most people just put us in a homegenous blob, indistinguishable from Burnley, Bolton et al. We will never get a full boycott, not even for a game. Everything thats happened in 15 years should be enough in most normal circumstances for the owners to leave. If people enjoy going, go for it, lifes too short, it doesnt mean they condone the way club is run. The only people who need to stay away from Ewood and fuck off and never come back are Suhail, Rudy and the Rao's (makes me laugh the same people who slag off fans for not attending, defend the owners, who havent been in over 10 years !).
