  1. Past hour
  2. Id settle for someone who can take them Asking for both is probably asking for too much 😉
  3. What's the 'I joined because it's a family club' thing about? Seems odd no? He's only on loan
  4. It's uncanny that every time an experienced player transfer out is announced. A foreign lower league player is brought in at exactly the same time. It's a stunning coincidence. In fairness this does make sense as a loan. Though bringing in an injured player just seems daft full stop. Next random relegated European better be a right winger, followed by a striker.
  5. Pardon if mentioned, but why doesn’t Leonard play?
  6. If you mean Afolayan, he is English, so no work permit or esc slot of any sort is needed
  7. Rudy Gestede was translating on behalf of Baradji, I turned it off after one minute. He was probably making up the translation to make himself look good 🤣
  8. Think its been well documented the VH group is worth at least a billion although that might be in Indian money terms. Whether the land and all the assets they own is covered by that or separate who knows ? A handy way to make useless swathes of rough land pay though would be secure borrowings against it to run a foreign entity and cream a bit off for yourselves year on year. That theory has been presented on here in the past and it might hold a bit of water when considering they won't sell because they cannot afford to without losing land.
  9. Don't loan options usually mean that the player has already agreed terms to a permanent deal? Just up to the club to finalise it at the end of the loan.
  10. Zero chance that loan turns to a perm
  11. WE HAVE BILLIONAIRE OWNERS FFFS. We can't match it, MY ARSE. #Plantbasedapologistsgosuckmyballs VENKYS OUT! TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YE!
  12. LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. TRAVIS GONE. NEW GUY IS A FUCKING LOAN?! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. if it's made perm after a certain amount of attainable appearances then fine. If not. FUCK OFF
  13. Ahhhhh.... another £3m transfer fee conveniently gone missing by next summer! Keep it up Rovers. When are we going to see a striker and winger INVESTMENT? Two losses in and hardly any shots on goals from the front 4.
  14. Loan deal makes sense due to the injury concerns. So that means there’s money for a permanent winger signing? Right!?
  15. “It’s going to take time” because you have plenty of time to adapt yin the championship don’t you and the fella ain’t lasted more than a year in a job
  16. No he doesn't. Just done his Rovers interview in French which had to be translated. Tried English first few words but switched to French
  17. Oladapo Afolayan? Born in London.
  18. Things are far from ideal. Venkys are a mess. However this board is abit overboard with the meltdown. Travis has been offered a better deal somewhere else. As bad as it is, we can’t match it and have to get a fee. We haven’t got a choice. As a replacement we’ve signed our number 1 target. Concerns over fitness so we’ve done a loan with option to buy. That is sensible business. Less risk for the club. Loan with options to buy is the optimal way to do business. I don’t back the board. But I like VI and I can see the teams he’s trying to build. It’s going to take time and I hope us fan will have the patience to see it come through - as frustrating as the last few weeks have been. I just feel we are abit reactionary. WestBrom we weren’t great, but it was a very even game and we had a pen not given. Birmingham we should have won - it was a good performance. Bradford was admittedly a shocker but it happens. Our club is a mess. We deserve better. But we don’t need to find the negatives in every single thing. As much as it is a buzzword, we are in transition ATM, I will be judging the team and window over September/October when things take shape
  19. He was clearly being sarcastic. We have/have had enough snakes to start a serpentarium according to some.
  20. Hopefully not but another tool in the box, I'm guessing a loan striker will be on the cards
  21. Allegedly back in their father's time the Governor of Pune carved up all the land in and around Pune to their father and another couple of local business men. As such they own much of the land and buildings in and around Pune which is where their real wealth comes from. The opinions I've heard are that as such when someone looks at their Companies and says they're worth £2 billion or £4 billion or whatever, far from overstating their wealth it's vastly understating it. I've never seen anything official to confirm or refute this, would be interesting to hear from those with local knowledge as to whether they think this is true or an old wives tale.
