  1. Past hour
  2. I'm not convinced Hyam will go,but there is no doubt, for better or worse, that this is definitely not a continuation of Waggott's tenure, as was eluded to in the summer.
  3. Looks like Hickman is primarily a right back so if Hyam is sold then the plan is to move Miller into the centre and backfill at right back. This is cheaper than signing an actual proven centre back (or keeping the one we already have) so fits with the cost cutting exercise that’s been happening all summer. Meanwhile our central midfield options are horrendous, options on the wings are mediocre at best and our 3 strikers are unlikely to conjure 15 goals between them. The heart and soul that has sustained this club since Mowbray rebuilt it have finally been ripped out this summer and replaced with a random mish mash of nobodies from Europes lower leagues.
  4. Gestede is certainly doing his best to shoot our club in the foot...
  5. Where would he play? He's a poor CB and I'd rather play Alebiosu at RB.
  6. You havent said anything whatsoever - that's why Im asking. All you've said is Mercer is bullshitting. Id like to know WHY you think that's the case. e.g. I know a man who knows a man and "He doesn't want to leave" "This hasnt been brewing at all" "There's nothing in it" Whatever it may be.
  7. He will earn is money if he does a job in Makhtar.
  8. Incredible summer. A side that was 1 point and 45 min from being in the playoffs is unrecognizable today.
  9. If Hyam wasn't keen to get out of here asap, especially if a club with ambition is sniffing, then I'd be questioning his sanity. If he has a choice between sticking here for 6-12 months until his contract expires trying to lead a collection of foreign signings to enough points to survive, or heading off somewhere to collect a pay rise and get a 3-4 year contract at a club that actually wants to get somewhere and do something, it is a no brainer.
  10. So? My information is a fair bit closer to home than @AAKtenuous link. Based on what has happened / is happening now would suggest my information was good.
  11. Elliott Jackson confirming that Gardner Hickman on loan will be almost certainly our only signing if we get it over the line. We have had some dreadful transfer windows under these wankers. This is as bad as any.
  12. Well what do you think? Read what I’ve said and come up with the answer, isn’t difficult.
  13. Wage cap ensuring we have no player who is experienced or wanted at championship level by any other team; Suhail's masterpiece rebuild continues in the next installment of "Days of Our Rovers"...
  14. So both Gestede and Rhodes coming out from retirement to pull on their shooting boots?
  15. Remember I said senior players were unhappy with Waggot / Pasha back in March after Eustace left. Since then Travis, Batth, Brittain, Weimann have left. Looks like they want Hyam out and Pears is β€˜missing’. JDT names Pasha and he’s gone overnight. The guy looks like he is a shadowy control freak who deals with dissent by shipping people out.
  16. Additionally. I posted on this very forum around 8 years ago that venkys were being looked into in relation to tax affairs. Initially in this country too, people laughed it off, came to fruition though.
  17. Hyam's departure always felt on the cards considering contract "talks" broke down and they seem desperate to gut the place of anyone on reasonable wages with any experience. A stopped clock is right twice a day.
  18. To be fair he looks more suited to CB than RB from what I've seen of him.
  19. Bay City Rollers - Shang-a-Lang
  20. Probably if Baradji's medical condition hadn't come to light, Tronstad would have gone as well and they'd have had a full house. And to think early in the window certain people were crowing about how much money was allegedly being "spent".
  21. I post in good faith. It's certainly not bullsh1t. My posts on Saturday evening and this morning couldn't be any clearer.
